Excellent value, great location, affordable rental car, great owner and caretaker!
"We had our wedding in Aruba and needed to find a place for some family members. We have a timeshare at the Marriott Surf Club, but we had a large group (16 people) so we decided to rent this house in addition to the timeshare. It was really one of the best decisions we made for our trip! Our family stayed here for about a week. My parents stayed here and they really enjoyed it because of its convenience and spaciousness. To save on costs, we cooked some of our meals and found that having a large kitchen and dining area for the family to convene and eat together was great! The two bathrooms were huge! The house is clean and it's close enough to all of the hotels in the Palm Beach area that it was very convenient. Additionally, it's very close to some very delicious, local restaurants including The Old Cunucu House restaurant, which was recommended to us by Elvin (he is the house's caretaker and overall, very great guy!) and 2 Fools and a Bull. Overall, it was really great! Elvin was very helpful and assisted us in getting transport from the airport to the house. Eileen was very good in communicating with us and answering any questions we had. We would recommend renting the truck: it is cheaper than renting from a car rental place and having the truck was just super convenient for whenever we needed to go anywhere. We rented a large minibus since our family was so large but the truck was very convenient for quick trips to the Aruba Surf Club or beach.
Just be warned that there are stray dogs and chickens roaming the area. It's very safe in the area, but don't expect a tourist spot. Personally, we liked that there were no tourists lingering about. The next neighbor was very nice!
The hotspot is a must! The house is also very close to a KFC, Chinese Take-out place, a Catholic Church, and a local supermarket. Some recommendations we would have for travelers: look through the coupons they give you at the airport, it'll save you money! You can get a free drink from the Old Cunucu House using one of those coupons! We would definitely recommend renting this house. Eileen is a great "landlord", Elvin a great caretaker and local connection, and the value for the house is just excellent! Aruba is so safe that you really don't need to worry about being off the resort and being at the house just gives you more chances to explore the island! The north shore is absolutelyyyyy amazing!!!"

"We really enjoyed our week here. We were 4 couples traveling together. We did have an issue with the Wi-Fi router crapping out on us. The good news is that Clifton was there the next day and got it replaced for us. This is a high end property without a doubt, but it is starting to show its age a bit. The Tierra Del Sol community is the best on the Island for sure, no worries there.
-Good sized pool with a large patio/deck area. It supplies good shade when needed.
-The open kitchen and great room is perfect for 8 people.
-There was enough chairs inside and out for all of us.
-There is great closet/storage area upstairs and down.
-Clifton was there to care of any needs we had.
-The lounge chairs by the pool need to be replaced. You sit against the steel bars.
-The layout is NOT ideal for 4 couples. Only two of the bedrooms have ensuites. The other two rooms must share a bathroom.
-Most of the bedrooms do not have blinds/curtains, so you are up with the chickens.
-The interior could use a coat of paint, especially the doors and trim. But not a big deal.
Overall Joe and Clifton were very good to deal with and very efficient. It was a good experience."

"We were very pleased with our stay At this condo. Plenty of room for myself and my husband. Large, well layed out living area. Kitchen had everything we needed and appliances worked well. We had lots of closet space, utilized both bathrooms, and used the washer dryer combo. We spent most of our time on the large balcony off of the livingroom. Position of condo was perfect in that we had a view of the pool without being right on top of it. So, had some privacy. We spent our mornings at the beautiful beach across the street and enjoyed long walks everyday. No problems getting beach chairs. Late afternoon, we'd head back to the beautiful main pool. Also, spent some time at the pool at the back of the complex which was very peaceful. Early evenings we'd head up to our own hottub up on the roof deck. When we ate in, we'd grill on the gas grill up on the roof. For eating out, we went to Mulligan's (long wait), Waka Waka (great food), and Matthews (beach ambiance). Enjoyed the area. Shopped at Lings for groceries and found everything we needed. Rented a car and went to Arikok National Park and took a beautiful hike there. Drove up to Palm Beach, shopped, and walked the strip. Explored Oranjestad, etc. Great week! Owner/agent was easy to deal with and responsive. We hope to return."

"We were extremely pleased with everything about this condo! We were there for eight days with our college age son. The condo was extremely well equipped with anything and everything you can think of. From golf clubs to two different types of coffee makers, to grill tools and ice chests every possibility is provided for. We usually say we will never stay off of the beach when at a beach destination but this was just wonderful! The view from the balcony is a waterfall pool next to the golf course. The pool is just a few steps away, and the beach is not that much further. The roof top party area was just fabulous! We purchased fresh fish and seafood at one of the conveniently located grocery stores and enjoyed the grill and covered living area on the roof more than once. The rooftop would be an awesome place for a larger get together to enjoy an evening of food, wine and dancing (there is an awesome sound system), under the stars (and string lights), in the Aruba breeze. Thanks for making our vacation a memorable one!"
