  • Great Stay

"My family had a very nice vacation this past February. As with all Sunset properties, the house was beautiful, clean, and very well appointed. The area outside by the pool was our favorite place to relax. JP and Eve are very warm and helpful. We're already planning a return next year."

  • One of the best places to stay on the Island!

"This is our 3rd stay at the Villa. In addition to a lushly landscaped pool with waterfall, a hot tub with spectacular sunset views, an outdoor Gazebo with dining accommodations, full sized gas grill and sound system…many new improvements have been added…a fabulous new kitchen, flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, volley ball court, lower level cabana and bar with pool table, ping pong table, corn hole setup, and more. Love having family and relatives at "our" home away from home. We can hang out anytime we want indoors or out, cook food, mix drinks, watch movies…then head out for Eagle Beach, Arashi Beach or Palm Beach for the afternoon (5-10 minute drive)…or slip out for dinner at any number of truly great restaurants usually a 10 minute drive away. This is the way to go if you want to experience Aruba in luxury and style with a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The Villa grounds occupy several acres is located on elevated land, so the view from the pool and hot tub gives you a spectacular view of the ocean and hotel lights at night a few miles in the distance. Sunsets are a must from the hot tub! When you first enter the Villa, you will say "wow!" to the spacious interior and architecture of the main Living, Kitchen and Family rooms. Just outside the rear sliding glass doors is a large patio area, the pool, gazebo and hot tub…all surrounded with hundreds of lush tropical plants, shrubs and palm trees. Descend the wide deck steps to a whole new level featuring a large cabana with bar, pool table and a full sized volley ball court. Oh yeah, I think there's an orchard down there as well! Can't say enough about the Aruba Villa Tropical…have recommended it to many friends. Enjoy!"

  • A little piece of paradise.

"If your tired of the hustle and bustle of all the Big Hotels, here's the solution for you. From the moment we pulled up to the quiet gated villa, we knew we had just arrived at a little piece of paradise. The landscaping was absolutely gorgeous, with large, towering palm trees swaying in the Aruban wind. When we arrived not only we were welcomed by the breathtaking architecture, we were greeted by the property manager himself, Francois. With amiable arms and a gracious smile, he showed us around the place. What we didn't know is that we were about to get a lot more than we bargained for. As we walked through the front door our loss of words seemed to speak for themselves. The high ceilings and abundant windows allowed for plenty of sunlight and fresh air throughout the house. The modern-style kitchen/island opened up to the living room and brought a liveliness to the area. The master bedroom overlooked the pool and guest rooms adding yet another spectacular view to the place. If that weren't enough the whole place was surrounded by wall, giving us a perfectly secluded home-away-from-home. Francois was always there to help out if we needed it, or just a phone call away and made sure our stay was enjoyable. There is no doubt in our minds that we will one day return to Aruba, and for anyone planning on visiting, we fully recommend staying at CasAruba. Best Regards, Cliff W"

  • Great vacation!

"Aruba has become our new favorite island. The owner, Robin, kept in touch with us right up until we left and she made everything so easy. We brought our 12 year old and got the one bedroom. He slept on the pull-out sofa and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. On the way to the hotel, we had the cab driver stop at Linman and Sons. This grocery caters to Americans and could be found in any neighborhood in the US. We used the kitchen everyday for breakfast, most lunches and no dinners. Next time, we will plan at least 2 dinners in the room. There were many times we stayed at the beach to watch the sunset and have another cocktail, and then, were to tired to go out. We really loved Papiamentos, Moomba Bay, and Old Cuchuruca (not sure on spelling) for dinner. There is a wonderful scuba instructor, Vicky, at Red Sail for beginners. We rented a Jeep one day to go to the other side of the island. We explored ALL day and ended up at Baby Beach. Would not recommend Big Mamas. Prices on the menu were subject to change after you ordered and the service was awful. We rented a small car at the hotel one day to check out the area near the hotel. We went to the lighthouse and stopped on the way to snorkel. If you go on the road by the wind surfers, past the wreck sticking out of the water, there are houses on the water with a few public parking areas. We snorkeled there. Lots of fish and nice reef just 30 yards from beach. On a different day, we took a snorkel trip. That trip took us to the exact same reef we had already done. We will remember that next time, too. All said and done, this is a great location, the owner is wonderful, and we would love to visit again!"
