  • Wonderful Condo in Eagle Beach!

"My husband and I had such a wonderful time in Aruba, and we were more than pleased with our accommodations! The condo was spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. 2 Large sliding glass doors lead out from the living area to the balcony overlooking the beach and it just breathtaking! Lisa, who checked us in and out was really helpful and informative being that it was our first time on the island! We made use of the kitchen, cooking in breakfast most mornings, and dinner one night, and we had all of the necessary kitchen equipment! The owners also provide comfortable beach chairs, a nice size cooler, and noodles to take down to the beach with you, which makes things so easy! The Oceania complex was well-kept, quiet, and really close to the beach. Cross the road and you're there! The pools were all really nice, although we never even went in the pools with the beach being so close! There are plenty of palapas available on the beach, but they would all be full by 11 am or so. You need to take your chairs down early to 'claim' your palapa - everyone did that every morning, so we did the same. We were also glad we decided to rent a car. There are a good amount of restaurants within walking distance, but some of the best are a little bit of a drive. It was also extremely helpful for getting groceries - there is a great supermarket nearby, but I wouldn't call it walking distance (with bags anyway!) We had an assigned parking spot that was close to our building entrance, and the security guards were very pleasant. The only thing we did not have that would have been a bonus was a grill. Overall, it was a great trip and a wonderful place to stay! We hope to go back soon!! Thank you Ted and Marilyn!"

  • Above and beyond:-)

"We had twelve people, and 4 generations staying at Franks hotspot and we could not have been any happier. Everyone from my 10 month old grand daughter to my 83 year old father-n-law had a fabulous time. There was a crib and pack and play for the baby, along with 2 high chairs, so we didn't need to bring anything from home. The pool was amazing for my 4 year old grand daughter. There is an area the whole length of the pool for small children to play. There is an outdoor shower and outdoor toilet, so handy:-) The hammock was a huge hit with my family and we ate all of our meals outside under the thatch gazebo. (beautiful) I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a play to stay on the island. It's a short walk to the beach, and lots of shops close by. Frank goes above and beyond. My grand daughter left her Elsa doll from "Frozen" at the house when we left to come back to the states, and Frank rushed to the airport so she could have it. Thank you sooooo much Frank for such a wonderful experience for our entire family!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Great vacation!

"Aruba has become our new favorite island. The owner, Robin, kept in touch with us right up until we left and she made everything so easy. We brought our 12 year old and got the one bedroom. He slept on the pull-out sofa and there was plenty of room for the 3 of us. On the way to the hotel, we had the cab driver stop at Linman and Sons. This grocery caters to Americans and could be found in any neighborhood in the US. We used the kitchen everyday for breakfast, most lunches and no dinners. Next time, we will plan at least 2 dinners in the room. There were many times we stayed at the beach to watch the sunset and have another cocktail, and then, were to tired to go out. We really loved Papiamentos, Moomba Bay, and Old Cuchuruca (not sure on spelling) for dinner. There is a wonderful scuba instructor, Vicky, at Red Sail for beginners. We rented a Jeep one day to go to the other side of the island. We explored ALL day and ended up at Baby Beach. Would not recommend Big Mamas. Prices on the menu were subject to change after you ordered and the service was awful. We rented a small car at the hotel one day to check out the area near the hotel. We went to the lighthouse and stopped on the way to snorkel. If you go on the road by the wind surfers, past the wreck sticking out of the water, there are houses on the water with a few public parking areas. We snorkeled there. Lots of fish and nice reef just 30 yards from beach. On a different day, we took a snorkel trip. That trip took us to the exact same reef we had already done. We will remember that next time, too. All said and done, this is a great location, the owner is wonderful, and we would love to visit again!"

  • Talk about a Retreat

"This place is spectacular. This is our fourth stay here. Always a memory of a fabulous vacation. Ample sleeping for 4 couples or large families. Pool is great especially under the moonlight. Morning breakfast and coffee on the gazebo is so relaxing. The amenities are everything one needs. The grounds are beautiful peaceful and serene. Francois, the manager is available anytime should need him for recommendations of things to do, places to eat. He is professional and stays in contact without creating any inconvenience. We cannot wait go back to Safir 18 next year."
