  • Private Oasis

"We had a wonderfully, relaxing vacation. I really loved the place feeling so private with the beautiful beach and water! The location was perfect for exploring both in the water and along the beaches or just relaxing. We couldn't have asked for any better of a location."

  • A Week in Paradise

"On the Rocks is breathtaking! The sunsets are beautiful, the marine life is great, and the location is ideal. The property is just 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from downtown Marsh Harbour. We saved so much money by having a kitchen and bought all of our groceries at Maxwells, the local grocery store. The house has a grill and a full kitchen with everything you need. The owner was also very helpful and even called to check in and had his housekeeper stop by to say hello. While here I suggest diving with Keith at Dive Abaco, fishing with Clint at Blackfly Lodge, visiting Nippers and Treasure Cay, and snorkeling at Mermaid reef. Diving was amazing. We saw so much wildlife including sting rays and sea turtles. We even saw sting rays, schools of fish, and much more right off of the back of the house! Coco Beach Bar at Treasure Cay and Nippers on Guana Cay both have breathtaking beaches and affordable food and drinks. You must go! Fishing with Clint was great as well. We even rented a pole from Fishing Boy and caught countless amounts of fish right off of the back porch. I highly suggest staying here. It was a PERCECT vacation."

  • FABULOUS 'SEA OF ABACO' VIEW AND THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR US!

"We have stayed at Driftaway before and are always impressed when we arrive to find it so clean, well maintained and stocked with everything we need to have another amazing holiday. This time was our 20th anniversary so this was a very special vacation. With the north facing front porch and the south facing deck we enjoyed them both as we got ready for our day, enjoyed our breakfast and then later in the day for sunning and relaxing some more. We spent almost every day this trip on the beach (Tahiti Beach and Nipper's by boat and in the water just in front of the house.) We visited the bay just across the way at Matt Lowe’s Cay to visit the many turtles that appear to call that area home. We love how quiet the area is. We never once heard the neighbors during our 7 night stay. We had everything we needed right there; snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. Being inside the gated community at the end of Eastern Shores Point makes this a quiet, calm and private place to stay. Not like a resort with activities and lots of people. This is a total get away and we will be back to this house again! It was comfortable, clean, well appointed, we cannot say enough about it! Thank you! We will definitely return and we highly recommend Driftaway to families and couples. Thanks again Bob and Linda!"

  • Wheelhouse rental

"I recently stayed here with 3 friends in April 2015. The house is not fancy, but it is highly functional. When we arrived, the gas tank was empty; however, we called and it was filled the following morning. It was not a problem, we used the stove downstairs. The door locks have some issues and may need replacing. The front door would not stay shut without a concrete block to hold it shut. These few things were minor issues for us. We had a great stay and the views are outstanding. Fortunately, the two adjacent properties were not occupied, so we had plenty of privacy. You will need a rental car or taxi to get around. I really recommend this rental."
