  • Good Times for all

"Catch A Wave is a very clean, up-to-date place to stay while at Elbow Cay. The location was close to town while also being close to Tahiti Beach. We enjoyed our short golf cart rides to markets, marinas, and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the pool each day, while my wife enjoyed quiet peaceful time on the deck reading a book. We all enjoyed the great views. We went to either Tahiti Beach or Hopetown Lodge Beach everyday. We had frequent contact with the owner throughout our trip for advice in addition to being able to contact their caretaker. My wife, who is a decorator, loved the interior. We really had a great time!"

  • The perfect vacation home

"Leapin Lizards met and surpass all our expectations of what a perfect vacation house should be. Everything that the listing and photos show are very accurate. Our party of 14 fit very comfortably. I would recommend this house to everyone. Judy(the caretaker) answered all our questions and addressed all our needs perfectly. We had a perfect family vacation, the only problem is that we should have stayed for two weeks instead of one. Next time."

  • Little Taste Of Heaven

"This was our first trip to the Bahamas and we rented this wonderful place sight unseen. The cottage and island far exceeded our expectations. We were met by the owner at the public dock and he quickly helped us settle into the private parrot perch cottage. It was private, had a rustic setting but didn't feel rustic at all, and had a gorgeous view. We felt like we hit the jackpot. The place was immaculate and everything and anything we could possibly need was available. The caretakers Jenny and Jeff were always available and very patient with our newbie questions. We loved the breeze the flowed through the cottage and the sound of the ocean at night. We will be back to visit again soon. Counting the days."

  • It doesn't get any better than this!

"Just got back from a week at this beautiful home. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children under two. It was absolutely perfect in every way. It was the first time we have ever rented a home with a pool and now it will be a must! If we weren't in the boat, we were in the pool. The view was unbeatable. We have been to Elbow Cay several times and it is a great, relaxing island - and also the friendliest I have been to. If you are an architect and into wood, you will also totally appreciate this home (as my husband did)!"

Hopetown Vacation Rentals for Families and Friends

Hopetown, a little known district located in the Bahamas, is quickly becoming a popular tourist destination for couples and families alike when planning a warm weather getaway. Hopetown vacation rentals come in all shapes and sizes, satisfying your need for space in order to house as many people as possible in your vacation party. Hopetown is located on the island of Abaco in the Bahamas, with golf carts being the main mode of transportation for residents and tourists alike. Supplies, such a food, drinks, and toiletries, are brought in each week via a barge.

Small Town Feel on a Gorgeous Island

Many people who book vacations love to book them for small towns to get that small town feel. You can definitely get that small town feel when staying in Hopetown because the permanent population is just around 300 people. Thousands of people visit the island each year for vacations and honeymoons, increasing the population at times by 300 percent.

So Much to Do on Such a Small Island

There is so much to do on thesmall island of Hopetown. The main attraction of Hopetown, near all of the popular Hopetown resorts, is the Elbow Cay-Hopetown Lighthouse. It is one of only three manual lighthouses still in operation in the entire world. The lamp in the lighthouse runs on kerosene oil to warn incoming ships of the rocks and the harbor. Aside from the lighthouse, tourists can swim, sunbathe, fish, boat, sail, kayak, whale watch and much more while visiting Abaco villas in the Bahamas. Make sure you book your trip to Hopetown as soon as possible to reserve the most luxurious villas, condos, or homes available for rent for you and your family during your stay on the island.
