  • San Clemente CA

"Our group was two families of four sharing the home. Renting the home was easy as Don was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and after the house was booked, even helped us with arranging golf carts, etc..., before arrival. We rented a boat which we were able to keep at the private dock for Conched Out,which was super convenient. When we weren't out on the boat for day trips exploring secluded beaches and snorkeling, we spent lots of time swimming and hanging out on the dock. There is even a little snorkeling nearby, and Spotted Rays and even the odd turtle made regular passes in the calm late mornings. Both the pool deck and the dock were great places to spend the late afternoons and enjoy sunsets. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, and the caretakers Sherman and Wilma took good care of us when we arrived. We didn't really need much help during our stay since the house was pretty self sufficient and easy to figure out. We loved the home and hope to return soon."

  • Wonderful Elbow Cay House

"My husband and I and another couple are just finishing our two week stay at this lovely home on this perfect island. The house itself, on beautiful, private grounds, is very comfortable and well-equipped. The three bedrooms and two full baths are on the main level, while upstairs is an expansive living room, dining and kitchen, along with a convenient half bath. The wrap around decks on both levels ensured that you could have sun or shade, breeze or no, at anytime. All of the furniture was comfortable and attractive, inside and out. No uncomfortable futon sofas or IKEA-style items you might find in some rentals. The kitchen was great and having a washer/dryer was a definite plus. A huge plus of Windover is that the owners very graciously allow you to use their golf cart. I know that some previous renters walked to town, but this would not have worked for our group, and we would have had to spend additional money to rent a cart. Using the nearby North End dock for our rental boat was easy and convenient. Loved the proximity to both beautiful Nathan's Bay and the wonderful Atlantic Beach. The owners, Luke and Sarah, couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, from doing a grocery shop prior to our arrival to meeting us, and allowing a flexible checkout. We fell in love with Elbow Cay and all of the other places we visited: Great Guana, Cracker P's, Tahiti Beach,Little Harbor, and more. We will be back!"

  • Ideal

"My wife and I spent 10 extremely peaceful days at Annie's Skyward Cottage in November, just as the islands were preparing for the holidays and start of tourist season. The cottage is tucked into the backside of a dune on the Atlantic Ocean side, buffered from any winds by the dune, palms, and shrubs. The kitchen, a few steps from the cottage, is equipped with everything you need; refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee pots, and utensils. The cottage hosts the bedroom, bathroom, and sitting/TV room, and is stocked with many books, from fiction to local (I suggest the "History of an Out Island and its Cays" and "The Long Day Wanes") (and wifi covers the cottage and kitchen if you need a download). The interconnecting deck includes a pair of Adirondack Chairs overlooking the Atlantic and the beach (great place to start the morning). The beach is long and beautiful, quiet, gives up its sea glass, very swim-able, and depending on wind direction, good for SUPping or Surfing. The town is only about 100 yards down a sandy path, the harbor another 50 yards farther, meaning food, drink, bike/cart/boat rentals are steps away. The cottage could not be more ideal for balancing a little peace and quiet, with all the convenience of access to the island's amenities when the mood strikes. Remember to look skyward at night, the stars are beautiful. Thank you Annie for being a great host!"

  • Amazing Week at Half Moon!

"Our family had a fabulous week vacation at Half Moon in November. When we arrived at Half Moon, we were immediately taken back by the beauty of the home and its surroundings. The home has a really great layout that allowed everyone in our family to have a good amount of space, but it also felt cozy and warm at the same time. One of the best features of the house is the amazing ocean view. Our family definitely took advantage of relaxing outside on the porch with the soothing sounds of the ocean in the background. We also enjoyed exploring the island and experiencing Hope Town. The Locals in Hope Town are truly welcoming and made us feel at home for the week. We are definitely excited for our next family vacation at Half Moon!"
