"This was our third visit to Guana Cay and Frangipani Cottage. The location is ideal; close to the settlement but far enough away to have a little privacy. We love the cottage's layout; simple but perfect for our family of three or for two couples. Having a bathroom in each bedroom is a plus. The WIFI worked well for us and the CB radio was useful. We loved listening to the Cruisers Net every morning! Gina is amazing as always (the caretaker) and we used Troy and Maria (Dive Guana) for both boat and golf cart rental. They run a top notch business and I highly recommend Troy's snorkel trip. This time we rented a boat and explored the cays on our own but he was very helpful with suggestions, as always. Our relatives made their first trip to the Abacos and were impressed with the beautiful beaches, snorkeling adventures, the food and friendly people. Meals at Nippers and Grabbers were good (seafood specials at both and pizza at Grabbers) and we also enjoyed dinner at Orchid Bay one evening. Back to the cottage property: We love the dock! We spent most evenings sitting on the dock bench after dinner and/or watching the sunset at Grabbers (Irene, a manager of Grabbers, is another outstanding individual who contributes to the overall fantastic vacation experience - so nice and easy going. I would recommend renting the paddleboards there; perfect setting, calm water). We didn't cook out this trip but the grill at Frangipani Cottage is a great addition (we used it last visit). The short path to the Atlantic Ocean side of the cay is extremely close to the cottage. We usually drive our golf cart down the path to the beach and park by the stairs but it is close enough to walk. A word of caution: There are a handful of vehicles on Guana Cay; the majority appearing to commute to Baker's Bay resort on the north end. A few drive too fast (we had some close calls this trip). Be aware of both golf carts and the few vehicles as the main road is fairly narrow, with curves, small hills etc. It is easy to get complacent. You may have the road to yourself for long periods, then be surprised. For the most part it is extremely safe. As for the owners they are a pleasure to work with and quickly respond to any questions. We are already looking forward to a 2016 visit and Frangipani Cottage is our #1 choice -"

"The house is about a 10 minute golf cart ride from town. It is very private, make sure you go to the beach across the bridge (you will see it on your way from town). The wifi works well, there is a nice porch and hammock for looking and listening to the ocean! The house is comfortable and has everything you need. If you like a little privacy, this is the place. The owner is easy to deal with and the caretaker met us at the golf cart rental place and took us right over to the house!"

"We stayed at Lil Gecko for two weeks for our 25th anniversary. It was PERFECT> Close to everything, but secluded enough you felt comfortable using the out door shower. The kitchen has every utensil and cooking item you need (only thing I would add is cast iron, because I use that for everything, but I made do!). The cottage is perfect for a couple. The owners, Jim and Kathy, made us feel like they were old friends before we even left. They answered all our emails, spoke to us on the phone. They even had a welcoming gift in the fridge when we got there, and sent a welcome home note when we returned. If you plan to travel to the Abacos, look no further, this is the place!"

"What a trip we had! Weather was fantastic everyday. We were able to see Barefoot Man for the first time - what a show and the crowds were amazing. My wife and I both agreed that after going to Guana Cay for our 10th trip and having stayed in 7 different cottages your cottage, Lemon Tree, has been the best one. The location was perfect (no golf cart req'd), the house was spotless, and Darvin (care taker) was fantastic. Our next trip will be in the Fall of 2016 so once we get planning the trip we'll be in touch. Thank you so much for having us at your Guana Cay Cottage.
