"I almost hate to share any wonderful imfo about this amazing house/island and our great owners....it would be a sweet secret to keep but also something so nice it needs to be shared. This was our second visit to pleasant dreams and this time we brought our adult kids. Of course the house is just perfect. We used the all the "toys" and cooked amazing meals in their fully equipped kitchen. If you love rainbows in the morning and lightning shows off in the distance at nite you will love this place. Steve and Lin are so easy to deal with and we will be back. The snorkeling every day and the "floats" in your own private cove are hard to get out of your mind. We ate lobster, conch, and fish thru the whole visit. I do suggest visiting Diane/Rodney. Our guys went out with Rodney and came back with a cooler full. And Diane is a sweet interesting lady who is so helpful . We even went over to her place and had dinner. You will want to rent a car for at least part of your visit. It s very helpful in getting to grocery store and of course sightseeing. Not an island for those seeking crazy nitelife . More of a quiet turn off your phone and forget the world kind of place. Just what i think everyone could use. We def made some unforgettable memories."

"We stayed at Coconut Beach house 351226 for a week in the middle of October 2014. We could not be happier with the experience we had. The house has all the amenities needed to enjoy your vacation whether you want adventure, relaxation, or both! Kitchen is fully outfitted with appliances, cookware, utensils etc. Bedrooms stocked with linens and bathrooms with tons of towels. There is also washer/dryer utility room! We were also provided with two bicycles to ride around the island. Air conditioning in the bedrooms kept us cool during the nights. House opens on a porch leading to a conch-lined path ending on a white sand beach! A hammock awaits you in the beautiful coconut grove along the path! We arrived by our own boat and were able to anchor it right in front of the house. The arrangements/payments were simple and smooth. The caretaker of the house was so accommodating and supplied us with anything we needed on a daily basis. The neighbors near the property are so friendly and make you feel like family during your stay. We were fortunate enough to be able to attend the annual Conch Festival where we met many local Bahamians who included us in the festivities and made us feel at home. The local scuba diving is astoundingly beautiful. We dove on several lovely reefs and in a blue hole! The fishing is also amazing...bonefish, tuna, grouper, hogfish, and lobster were some of the meals we enjoyed. This was one of the best trips we have taken and we plan on returning to this beautiful location again!"

  • Great location, great property managers.

"We stayed in the older two bedroom cottage, attached to the one bedroom. We got a late start due to snow storms in Boston! Our cottage could use some updating, but despite that we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. Mario and Princess responded quickly to our requests and are very pleasant and helpful, as are all the local people we met. We had a clunker car which I think is needed to explore. Will not repeat the information others have shared, there's lots to see, but you have to travel. The roads have lots of pot holes, but you get used to it and end up driving like the locals(or I did)!! We brought some of our own food and condiments and ate out at Hank's and The Conch Salad takeout and Conch burger place next door. DIY bone fishing is fantastic, Tommy Kee took my husband out and he had a great day. The weather was not ideal, cool, very windy from NW/N/E, so there was no snorkeling which bummed me out and too windy to really kayak near the coast. You can walk the beach forever at low tide and fish off the beach or the new long dock next door. The separate newer two bedroom cottage was the best from my perspective and the man living in the "Pink two story" house next door is building 3 new villas and a restaurant on that road. It looks like development is picking up and tourism as well. The bugs definitely bite, deet worked for me, that's what I had. Others have suggested Skin so Soft or a daily antihistamine. Our neighbors were very nice and helped us to locate very good diy bone fishing places. Andros is an interesting island with lots of character. It is rustic still, but we like that. two grocery stores with adequate supplies. costs are higher for some things, not as bad as the US Virgins. We look forward to going back in a couple of years. The dogs were very nice and protective."

"We just spent a week with an outstanding hostess. Diane was very accommodating and helpful and we truly enjoyed her company. The accommodations were cosy and comfortable. Diane organized a couple of days of bonefishing on outstanding fishing flats. We were also able to take nice long walks on the beach during low tide. Knolls Landing is a treasure location on a nice beach. The driver from the airport accommodated our shopping needs and we found everything we needed to enjoy lovely home cooked meals. The kitchen was well equipped and we also made use of the outdoor grill. We would recommend a stay at Diane's especially if you are looking for access to spectacular bonefishing at the Joulter Cays. Thank you again Diane. Warmest regards, John & Francine"
