"We feel so at home staying with Kimmy and Terry, they are so welcoming and helpful. This was our second time staying with them, we love the property, it's landscaped beautifully and is always blooming something. The Seahorse Cottage was simply amazing, we slept with the windows and doors wide open, it was very comfortable! We had so much fun in the pool it was a great place to cool off. We most definitely will be back to visit Kimmy and Terry (our wonderful island family) in the near future! Until then my dear friends thanks again for everything and cheers!!!"

"My family of four (my husband, two teen aged children, and me) stayed for a week in early April and had an absolutely wonderful vacation. I love the location of this rental because it's directly on a safe cove that is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking.
The bay-side location provides a lot of entertainment as you sit and watch from the balcony - fisherman, people from town coming for a swim, occasionally giant fish swimming by, etc. The rental house also sits near some great places to eat (we loved Unca Gene's!), get groceries, bakery goods, beer/liquor, and nearly everything else you need.
The kitchen was very usable and provided everything you need to make food during your stay. Local cookbooks available in the kitchen helped me figure out how to fix the fresh grouper we bought from fisherman on the dock across from the house. The hosts were AWESOME. They were available to give advice and answer questions but left us alone to explore and relax.
A stay at this amazing place is not for everyone. If you are super picky about how updated a rental is, this is not for you. If you have trouble with the unexpected or can't roll with flow, this is not for you. However, if you can successfully turn on "island time" and love the amazing experience of staying in a local town with real people (NOT a resort!), always looking out on a beautiful turquoise cove, then this is perfect."

"Perfect house for couple who enjoy getting away from it all. Great location with groceries and restaurants close by. You must rent a car to explore the island, the owner offers a nice one if you wish to do a packaged deal. Comfortable, clean, private and nice. Hard to say enough good things about the house or the location. Good communication from the owner as well. If you are looking for a place near Gregory Town and surfers beach for 2 this is your place."

"When you have a place with all that this VRBO property has to offer this can very easily turn your VAcation in to a STAYcation. We usually rent a car and travel around Eleuthera when we visit our relatives in Gregory Town, but staying at Longbight made this trip a different experience. You can believe everything written in the reviews; from the kindness of Wendy, who was there to show us around on our arrival and wish us a farewell on our departure, to the detailed description of the house and surrounding property. The house is indeed very spacious, with lots of room to spread out and relax, comfortable sleeping accommodations, plenty of ceiling fans, and air conditioning in all the rooms if needed. The kitchen is better equipped than our home in Miami, including everything from a crockpot to a salad spinner. We thought it would really be nice to have a TV and Internet service, but because of the beauty that surrounds this lovely property, we rarely took advantage of these amenities. After a day of swimming, kayaking or snorkeling in our own private cove, we would finish every day relaxing in the comfortable adirondack chairs on the expansive back porch and await the beautiful sunset. After dinner, it was back outside to enjoy a sky lit up by stars, rather than the lights from a big city. We've been coming over to Eleuthera for 25 odd years now, and we have to say that because of where we stayed, this was truly one of our best visits to Eleuthera ever. I do feel like I should add that if you've never been to Eleuthera, it would be worth your while to rent a car and explore all the places mentioned in the other reviews. It's a great island with friendly people, and there is plenty to see and do.
