"We hesitate to brag about Amori House only because our selfishness does not want Ten Bay to become popular...can't it remain the secret of just a few? The seclusion in plain sight is awesome. Amori is the PERFECT spot for human battery recharge. Our return visit to old friend Ten Bay was greatly enhanced with the ability to reside on the beach. It truly does not get any better than Amori House with post card sunsets, best beach lounging in the Bahamas, no-drift floating in the bay, pressure free snorkling, calm kayaking waters, Causarina shade for book reading and just enough Wi-Fi to gloat on FaceBook. Ama is such a gracious owner to offer their home for others to enjoy and was great to work with in advance of our trip. Island Farms' Anne set us up for our stay and then had all the great veggies, pesto, sauces and breads to highlight our home cooked meals. Then there's Double Bay just a few minutes to the other side of the island for sunrises and beach lounging seclusion. Check out some of Eleuthera's other lonely, pristine, pink sand beaches on the Atlantic side (Whiteland was superb), but you'll find yourself back at Ten Bay treating yourself to 4 o'clock cocktails and Kalik."

"As soon as we arrived at KOKOMO I felt the stress and worries of everyday living just melt away. We vaca'd with a Community couple and although the house is set-up as 2 individual living quarters, we all seemed to only use the beachfront kitchen that went directly out to massive cement veranda with that stunning Mermaid sculpture.
We shopped, dived, snorkeled, kayaked, prepared scrumptious dinners, ate out locally, got to meet the Owners that I'd been e'ing for tips, etc. Fabulous couple.
If you go, there's a perfect, pristine beach as you leave KOKOMO and head out to Queens Highway, it has a sign on the left that reads: CrocoMama (next to old Military Base) and the beaches are literally the most gorgeous we've ever seen and we've been to many, many beaches.
The Owner equipped the house with everything you could possibly want; literally. It was SO MUCH BETTER than staying at a hotel. We loved the privacy and our own run of the beach and 2 dogs that show up faithfully to be fed and you could tell they loved their lifestyle....who wouldn't?
We're telling all our friends and may possibly be back to KOKOMO. It is just the perfect place to wind down
and forget all the busy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"My husband and I spent 12 nights at this gorgeous place this past Christmas. We can't say enough great things about the villa, the owners and the caretaker- even better than expected! The villa is spacious, spotless, airy and light, yet very comfortable and filled with whimsical marine-themed décor (some created by the owners, which adds such a nice touch!). We both love to cook and had most of our dinners at the villa; never did we want for anything in the kitchen it was so well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace and the fact that the house sits back from the beach, offering much privacy. There is, however, a lovely wooden deck that sits right on the beach and has cozy Adirondack chairs. We've been to Eleuthera once before and believe all of Eleuthera is breathtaking but being in North Palmetto Point is very convenient. You can easily visit many beaches and points of interest such as Levy Preserve and Blue Hole, though the beach right out the door may be one of the nicest. (The book The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera is highly recommended if you want to visit some awesome beaches.) North Palmetto Point is also close to restaurants and Island Farms, which sells fresh produce along with many home-made products including hummus, spinach dip, salsa, dressings and marinades. They also have baked goods on certain days of the week.
Both the owners and the caretaker also helped make this a great stay. Sal, the villa owner, was very helpful before and during our stay. He promptly answered all of our questions and made it clear we could contact him at any time without feeling we were bothering him; he seemed to truly want us to enjoy his bit of paradise. Sue, the caretaker, was also there to answer any questions and help out however she could. There was a short power outage, which is common, and Sue was able to assist in getting it back on in a fair amount of time.
All in all this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and we plan on going back again next year! We have thought about trying other places but we've decided, why bother when we know Aqua Vista is perfect?"

"If you are looking for serenity then Serenity Cove certainly delivers. Peaceful, beautiful and private. Centrally located on the island, so easy to do day trips north, south or in the area. Or just stay where you are with a private cove, one of the best beaches on the island, snorkeling, a perfect deck for relaxing. From early morning coffee watching the marine life to star gazing at night... it's a great spot. Turn on the deck lights at night to illuminate the cove and watch the wide variety of fish, rays, etc. House is very clean, plenty of room, all you can ask to meet your personal and cooking needs. Due to the irregularities of island services, we had no phone or internet for the week of our stay, but it just made it all that more relaxing. Rock and Nell were very good to deal with. Highly recommend this getaway on Eleuthera."
