  • Fantastic!

"Highly recommended for those who want to get away from it all. Remote location (you need a car), amazing beach, and extremely quiet. The house was well taken care of with all the amenities one would need to be very comfortable. The owners are very approachable and helpful when booking and planning our trip. In addition, the caretakers for the property were very attentive and willing to help with anything we needed. Flawless experience!"

  • Paradise!!

"My husband and I spent 12 nights at this gorgeous place this past Christmas. We can't say enough great things about the villa, the owners and the caretaker- even better than expected! The villa is spacious, spotless, airy and light, yet very comfortable and filled with whimsical marine-themed décor (some created by the owners, which adds such a nice touch!). We both love to cook and had most of our dinners at the villa; never did we want for anything in the kitchen it was so well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the huge terrace and the fact that the house sits back from the beach, offering much privacy. There is, however, a lovely wooden deck that sits right on the beach and has cozy Adirondack chairs. We've been to Eleuthera once before and believe all of Eleuthera is breathtaking but being in North Palmetto Point is very convenient. You can easily visit many beaches and points of interest such as Levy Preserve and Blue Hole, though the beach right out the door may be one of the nicest. (The book The Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera is highly recommended if you want to visit some awesome beaches.) North Palmetto Point is also close to restaurants and Island Farms, which sells fresh produce along with many home-made products including hummus, spinach dip, salsa, dressings and marinades. They also have baked goods on certain days of the week. Both the owners and the caretaker also helped make this a great stay. Sal, the villa owner, was very helpful before and during our stay. He promptly answered all of our questions and made it clear we could contact him at any time without feeling we were bothering him; he seemed to truly want us to enjoy his bit of paradise. Sue, the caretaker, was also there to answer any questions and help out however she could. There was a short power outage, which is common, and Sue was able to assist in getting it back on in a fair amount of time. All in all this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken and we plan on going back again next year! We have thought about trying other places but we've decided, why bother when we know Aqua Vista is perfect?"

  • Jocelyn & Tyler - Feb 2015

"We spent a week at Off The Reef and absolutely loved it. The home was all we would have needed, included all the beach goer stuff including umbrellas, cooler, towels and snorkel gear. We found it quite easy to get around to various places and beaches in the different settlement and found the house to be nice and central making everything as accessible as possible. There was nothing that we needed and didn't have in the house and the private beach and cabana was fantastic and relaxing. I also found the most seaglass right in from of the stairs to the beach! I would recommend this is any couple who are looking for a relaxing adventure!"

  • Paradise for two

"We just left Villa Sylphide after a glorious 12 days. The house is perfect for 2, we loved the location , and really appreciated the homeliness of the Villa. I know there are lots of things to do or if you want you can do very little as was our case. We only ate out 2 times, 3J's and 1648, loved both of them . We basically picked a direction on the beach and off we went, long walks, tons of sea glass a neat little shells. Brian has a great place here and if you need a 1 bedroom I would be hard pressed to think you could do better. Relax , enjoy the moment and go to the Villa you won't regret it."
