  • So vacation. Much relax. Wow. Very sunset.

"Absolutely amazing!!!! Scott is great and everything went very smoothly. Philip was amazing and very helpful as well! It was like staying at a cabin in the woods. Except instead of woods there was beautiful turquoise water and a cliffside with a staircase carved into it. So many fish! I saw a huge lobster and an eagle ray glide through the little cove at the base of the cliff. Best week ever!"

  • Pebbles Exactly as Described - UHH, NO, IT'S BETTER

"My husband and I spent a week at Pebbles in Nov. 2013. We have been married for 56 years and we consider this the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. I have re-read the description for Pebbles and it describes it absolutely correctly. However, the week we spent there is actually indescribable. We will never forget it. Pebbles was perfect for the two of us - large, comfortable furniture, great sleeping bed, The view was beautiful. We kept the living room sliding doors open so we always had a breeze and the sound of the ocean; we kept the AC going in the bedroom. The yards were lovely. The patio was partially shaded during most of the day. There wear a gazillion stars at night, incredibly bright. We didn't see anyone on "our" beach the whole week but we did see some footprints. A couple of things you need to know - 1) the password for the Wi Fi in the cottage. 2) Your local call won't go through if you dial the area code as we have to do in our home area. We enjoyed Banks Road Deli, Tippys, Beach House, Buchaneer which were very close to Pebbles, but not close enough to walk for us so we were glad we had a rental car. The owner, the housekeeper and the gentlemen we rented the the car from were all very friendly, personable, and helpful. We've been home for two weeks and if I close my eyes, I can still hear the sound of the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. I heartily recommend Pebbles."

  • Stunning house for a perfect vacation!

"My friend and I booked the Amori House for a girlfriends' getaway and we are so happy that we did! The owners were so attentive and helpful from the beginning to the end! They answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions for anything that we could think of- car rental, chef services, restaurants, etc. The house was stunning and had everything we could want for an incredible vacation including snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, pots, pans, and the most amazing air conditioning! It was as comfortable as being at home, but on the most beautiful beach imaginable. We woke up to a stunning view every morning and while we did visit many areas of the island, we could have walked out the back door and stayed at Ten Bay Beach every day and been perfectly happy! We also greatly appreciated the assistance of Anne and Clyde, the house managers, and Teresa at the farm, who were so friendly and helpful. We look forward to going back to the Amori House and feel so fortunate to have found this gem!"

  • A perfect hideaway with a fantastic view!

"We are from Germany and stayed at Bahamavilla in august 2014 (2 adults + a 7-year-old girl). The house is very nice, the view is really fantastic! The Caribbean Sea beginns just right in front of the beautiful terrace, you are surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants. The nearby beach "Ten bay beach" also is great for swimming and shelling. The house has a large open-air-terrace, 1 livingroom and 2 bedrooms. Furniture is o. k. and in good shape, the beds are great. Nothing is dirty or smells bad. The house is very clean. The kitchen furniture and the kitchen stuff are a little bit old and tacky but they work. The bathroom is o. k., washbasin + toilet are nearly new, the bathtub and the wall tiles are old, bathtub-faucet is rusty, but this is really no problem at all. The telephone line was broken during our complete stay, so we had no internet and always had to go to a public internet facility at Governor's Harbour which is 10 miles away. Our resumé: if you are coming from Florida or the East Coast of the U. S., Bahamavilla is perfect. You have a real "Robinson-feeling" (even without internet ...), Eleuthera is a nice destination. But coming the long way from Europe (as we were), paying US 1.700 per person for the 10-hours-flight, you better go to Floridas West Coast, the Maldives or a 4/5-star-resort in Asia where you have more comfort and cleanness of the island. Eleuthera is a great place with wonderful beaches, the people are very friendly, we never felt insecure. Food shopping, dining, rental cars (these are often very old + rotten, but cost 70 dollar per day), gasoline and all other items are double the price than in the U. S. We had very relaxing holidays on Eleuthera, if you want real recreation you will find it there. Don't forget to go to the "fish fry" at Governor's Harbour each friday evening. Thanks to Emmy for always answering me so quickly, you have a wonderful house."
