  • one of the best rental homes in Rainbow Bay

"We have a love for Eleuthera that goes back 40 years and have stayed in many rental homes. We just got back from a eight day stay at Indigo Seas and wish we could have stayed longer. It's a cute 2 bedroom 2 bath home with a detached cottage with one full bed and its own bathroom. We had 4 adults and were very comfortable there. It would be ideal for a family with children also. We loved our view sitting on the porch looking out over the Atlantic and we had a nice breeze that kept the house very comfortable without the use of the air conditioners. The house is conveniently located in the center of Eleuthera in beautiful Rainbow Bay, making it easy to travel to either end of the island. You have one of the best restaurants, Rainbow Inn, located nearby also. The house is very well equiped for cooking your own meals and also has a gas grill. Dave, the owner, was a pleasure to talk to and is very accommodating. His caretaker, Israel, was very helpfull too. We plan to go back again with our daughter & son in law in a few months and will definitely rent this house again! Rick & Margaret"

  • Amazing Honeymoon

"Go to Eleuthera and stay here!! We could not have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon. We stayed at Pura Vida for 10 nights and it was an amazing trip. Everything is as described and so much better in person. The view from the house and on the beach is exquisite. The grounds are even more private than pictured. You cannot be seen from inside the house or in most of the backyard by any neighboring houses or anyone on the beach. We only saw 2 people on the beach the whole time we were there. We loved laying in the hammock or in the loungers and watching the waves or stars. I would definitely recommend renting a jeep. There is so much to explore of the island and the roads are not in the best shape. Have some conch fritters and enjoy 1 of the many beautiful beaches! We found that no matter how many beaches we discovered, none were more beautiful than what we already had in Double Bay. We brought back a large back of pink sand and plenty of amazing memories with us. We are already planning our return trip. :)"

  • Perfect Vaca!

"We absolutely loved everything about Eleuthera and the house. It was exactly what we needed. A real relaxing getaway and vacation. The privacy was key but we also loved meeting the locals. The house, though a little big for just two of us, was perfect as well. We utilized the pool a lot as well as the snorkel gear, paddle board and kayaks that they had on site. Had lots of beach time and some great dinners out, as well as the infamous Friday Night Fish Fry. The property management provided helpful hints, list of activities and information about the island. We hired Pauline Binks to cook for us for about 5 days/couple meals a day. Absolutely wonderful! Jeremy Lewis took us out for a little fishing, snorkeling and good company! We are really glad we picked this place rather a hotel. We would definitely like to come back but maybe with a group of friends. Again the privacy was perfect for an anniversary celebration. Thanks again! We hope to come back soon!"

  • Relaxing Stay at Wish!

"My family and I spent a fantastic week at Wish House on Eleuthera. The home was perfectly situated on the most beautiful, private beach allowing us to enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, beach combing and general relaxation! The decor was lovely and the furnishings comfortable. Loved having coffee every morning at the thatched hut right on the beach. Had a fun time at Tippys for New Years--food was amazing and the music and dancing fun. The Fresh baked cinnamon rolls and fruit from Island produce were a delicious morning treat. the island was refreshingly untouristy. The only surprise--how costly the grocery was! Bring what you can from the mainland to save $$. Thanks again!"

The Tarpum Bay Taxi Service makes runs twice a day to the Rock Sound airport and is available for travel around the island, or you can rent a golf cart and set out on your own.

Eleuthera A World Renowned Vacation Destination

Eleuthera villas offer unpopulated beaches, snorkeling, diving, and surfing. Eluethera is home to the Cotton Bay Golf Club in Rock Sound. The island has two of the most beautiful sights in the Bahamas—the Glass Window Bridge and the Harbor Island beach. The Glass Window Bridge is a "neck" of land formed at the narrowest part of the island. This neck, or bridge, is just 100 feet across. You can stand on the bridge and see the dark Atlantic water on one side and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean on the other side—at the same time. Come stay at Tarpum Bay resorts, and don't pass up the chance to visit Harbor Island and one of the most unique beaches in the world—a beach with three miles of pink sand.
