"On spring break a few weeks ago stayed at this very comfie well maintained home on Eleuthera. We were looking for a place to unwind with our children and this was the perfect spot. The Caribbean is right down the back steps (see photos) and the kids spent endless hours in it. At low tide, you can sit in the water for an hour and it is warm enough that you are comfortable. Once past the first ten feet, you can't find a rock for 1/2 mile, just soft sand. Crystal clear and absolutely beautiful. Three bedrooms and an additional small one in the front of the house. We would barbecue out on the back patio often and sit out and watch the stars at night. There are very few lights outside after dark so you can actually see shooting stars and a complete sky filled with stars. Twice we went to Harbour Island which has shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars and the world famous Pink Sand Beach which is a beautiful all sand rockless beach on the Atlantic side. It is a 10 minute car ride to the docks in Eleuthera and a 10 minute taxi speedboat ride to the island, $5 per person. Another day, we drove 1/2 way down the coast of Eleuthera stopping a various shops, bars and restaurants throughout the day. The owner keeps a very informative guidebook that lists things to do and see and discusses the better restaurants and bars. The people on the island are very friendly and hospitable, everyone waves at you when you drive by, unlike several other islands in the Caribbean that we've been to. The house is wired for internet in case you need to get in touch with friends or work. All in all, a most wonderful and relaxing family vacation and I highly recommend staying here."

"Scott’s place was truly amazing! My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and the stress of work and we found the perfect place. The sunset from the porch was beautiful and we fell asleep early every night listening to the ocean. The lagoon was amazing and my husband would sit and watch for fish every night which is one of his favorite things to do. On the not so windy days, it was fun to swim and play around in! We rented the car from Scott which worked out perfectly. The bed was comfortable and there were AC units in both the bedroom and the main room to cool down the house after the hot day. In the mornings we would open up the windows to feel the breeze. We only used the toaster for breakfast, but there were pots and pans if we had wanted to cook. There was even a small charcoal grill set inside the cliff by the porch.
If you are looking for a place to escape the pressures of a busy life and want to feel like you are the only tourist on the island, this is the place for you. We were the only couple on all of the beaches on both the south and north part of the island. The locals were friendly and very helpful. Unca Genes was our go to lunch spot and we ate at the Rainbow Inn twice for dinner (Monday night is pizza night with a live band but you need a reservation). Some advice would be to pack a soft cooler for the beach; we were unable to find one in town. We brought beach mats, floats, and beach towels with us. Also, bring a lot of cash as most of the places do not take credit cards (there are a few ATM’s on the island if needed) I do not remember the name, but there is a really good breakfast place right across from the airport if you have a morning flight. You can check in and then run across the street to eat. This was by far the best vacation we have ever experienced and we plan on coming back to "paradise" many more times in the future!"

"My wife and I stayed at Serenity for our anniversary and we had a wonderful visit. The house was beautiful, with tremendous views of the property and the ocean. Mark and his wife have done an amazing job of decorating the home with personal and local touches....it truly felt like an island home.
The property was landscaped wonderfully, with access to the beach, and there were two separate lounging areas that overlooked the water. The gazebo down at the beach was handy and allowed for a great water view too.
The beach was simply awesome. 3 miles of seclusion, and we only saw two other families while there. My wife and I walked the beach each day and marveled at the scenery, the white/pink sand, and the turquoise water. The pictures do not do justice to the actual views you have from the property and on the beach.
Mark has made the home very "user friendly" A very nice flat screen TV and a video collection of practically every movie you can imagine made evenings very nice. The outdoor rainwater showers were simply amazing.
Mark was very helpful and finding a car rental, directions to the home, and around the island, as well as suggesting restaurants.
The visit was outstanding and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. We will definitely return. Thanks Mark."
