"Stunning views, immaculately clean, minimalist charm, we had everything we could ask for plus the sounds of the waves...would recommend to anyone, it could not have been more comfortable and joyful.
We like to visit different places...but will certainly consider returning to this spot just because it was so perfect for us.
Spent 11 days, could have stayed forever. Our only regret was that the wind was unusually strong during our stay so we did not use the beach, swim out front or make use of the paddle board or kayaks, or sit on our deck for meals. But the beauty of Eleuthera is that if it's windy on one side, good chance it's not on the other - so we spent lots of time exploring the stunning "Caribbean" side. Great snorkeling, deserted beautiful beaches.
Cayo Loco supplies really nice beach chairs and towels - we took these with us everywhere, they were much appreciated! Bring a small cooler (we left one there) for lunches as who wants to leave the beach once you get there? Take Maureen up on her offer to supply coconut water - refreshing morning drink.
Eleuthera itself was just our speed - have never visited the Bahamas because our impression was that they are very touristy. Not so here...Eleuthera is a true throw back in time. The local people as well as all the expats we met could not be more kind and gracious, it is one of the safer islands we have ever visited.
And Cayo Loco is one of the nicest vacation homes we have ever rented. Kudos to Maureen and Alan."

"My husband and I stayed at the Cove House for 10 amazing days in late March 2015. Donna and her daughter Amanda were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the lovely Captain's Quarters apartment. It was clean, had plenty of space for the two of us, was adequately stocked with all we needed for cooking, etc. and had the absolute BEST views of the water. We awoke each morning to the sounds of waves lapping and distant wandering roosters. We had breakfast and dinner on the front balcony overlooking the cove each day. It was an absolutely perfect place to stay and exceeded our expectations. Thank you Donna, Amanda, & Harry!"

"We had the most amazing time in Eleuthera and staying at Bahama Villa was a great choice. It comfortably sleeps 4 and has the most amazing views of Ten Bay Beach. The villa is air conditioned but we preferred to keep the sliders open and let the breeze flow through the screens. There are so many fish right below the deck that you don't even have to leave the villa to snorkel if you don't want to. We saw trumpet fish, stingrays and a couple baby lemon sharks, amongst many others. It rained almost our whole trip so we didn't get to enjoy Ten Bay as much as we had planned but it gave us the opportunity to get out and explore the whole island. Emmy and Arthur were very easy to work with and did everything they promised. Also the neighbors that own properties around the villa are so welcoming and knowledgeable. We had such a lovely time and plan on returning in the future.
Places you MUST GO TO on Eleuthera (Our favorites from the trip): Kemp Creek, Preachers Cave, Lighthouse Beach, The Glass Bridge, and the Rainbow Inn Restaurant in Rainbow Bay. That restaurant is so delicious....EVERY DISH WE TRIED WAS AMAZING. I can't say that about many.
There are so many other wonderful places on Eleuthera and if you want a relaxing, peaceful vacation, where the food is good, the people are friendly and the beaches are almost always empty, this is definitely a place you'll want to go. Take some time to get out see the island. You won't regret it."

"Thank you, Mr. Roberts and Cindy for renting Nella's Nest to us for the week. We enjoyed every second and will come back next year. We loved the view, endless beauty of turquoise sea. Outside Nella's Nest is spectacular. Inside was more than comfortable."
