"We enjoyed a lovely hot sunny and rainy week here in September. The Exumas were very quiet at this time of year and we basically had February Point all to ourselves. Only once was there someone else at the pool when we were there....
Our house was in the perfect location, so close to the ocean - amazing watching the sun rises every morning from bed and sitting out front with a coffee in the early peaceful mornings when the water was so still it was all just a perfect reflection.
The house was delightful, lots of room, fully equipped, no problems at all..
There is some construction going on, but it did not bother us.
The restaurant was only open Weds thru Saturday which was a little bit annoying. We had no clue we were arriving into such a quiet time, when most restaurants close for the month for either renos or just because it is too quiet on the island to open..
Luckily we managed not to starve - it just took a bit of work finding the open food joints! Totally recommend Shirley's at the Fish Fry! And Tropic Breeze & Santana's for lunch in Little Exuma.
Location of February Point is excellent - so handy to Georgetown and the Driftwood Cafe for breakfast and the Exuma Markets for groceries...
We would definitely return to February Point and Great Exuma!"

"This is our 3rd visit to Exuma and by far the best ever. We wanted to rent somewhere large enough for our children and grandchildren and this was perfect. There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children, ages 8, 11 and 12. There was more then enough room for all of us. There are 4 french doors all opening out onto the deck over-looking the ocean. There is a screened seating area right off of one of the bedrooms that was perfect for sitting with coffee and a book. The kitchen was soooo big, perfect for all of us to cook. We did cook all our meals, did not go out to eat at all--I don't know why anyone would want to leave Airwood to eat at a restaurant. we all love to cook and each of us brought some food with from the States. We also ate fresh lobster, crab and fish that husband and son caught. There are well-stocked grocery and liquor stores to buy what you need. The house and the Cays community are like a private paradise, all the houses are painted bright tropical colors and there are flowers and palm trees everywhere. The pictures on the web of Airwood and the surrounding Cays don't even come close to how beautiful it is here. The pool was the best for the kids and the Tiki Bar during sunset perfect for sharing a beer or glass of wine with Norman and Julie. Grandpa and the kids fished everyday from the dock. He also went bone-fishing on his own. We rented a boat from Minns water sports 2 different days--1 of the days was very windy and choppy and the other day was perfect with calm waters. On both days, we snorkeled. We did also use the kayaks to paddle out to one of the islands in front of the house and would have done it more, but there were too many other things to do.
Don't know what else to say other then, I want to go back!!!!!!!!"

"We booked this house well in advance but I have to say the pictures and even all of the reviews can't capture that breathtaking, awestruck, jaw-dropping view that we had when we first opened the door. The ocean is absolutely gorgeous and view is incredible. We loved the deck and sitting just watching the ocean. We love to snorkel and our children spent hours in the ocean which we had entirely to ourselves!! We walked up and down each way on the beach and rarely saw another soul. The owners were incredibly helpful- before, during and after our trip. It made all the difference as we didn't really know what to expect. They were so good to give us lots of tips and suggestions and no question went unanswered.
We rented a car and saw the entire island. It was fairly easy to navigate and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The beaches are magnificent and the food was so delicious.
Our time was relaxing and very enjoyable! Would definitely go back!"

"Three couples absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Rock House on Tropic of Cancer Beach on Little Exuma. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We either had this amazing beach all to ourselves or shared it with very few people. It is, indeed, a paradise. There was wonderful walking on the beach, kayaking to the Turtle and Alligator Rocks, and a little bit of snorkeling. But the sheer beauty of just being there is the best! The house is quite lovely, simply and tastefully decorated and is very functional. The drive back to Georgetown takes about 30 minutes for shopping, etc. We went to Tropic Breeze and Santanaas Grill in Williamstown for two excellent meals."
