"This was one of the best vacations our family has ever had! The property was amazing. The ocean is literally steps away from the house. When you are sitting by the pool, it feels like you are sitting on the beach! The infinity pool, Tiki bar and hot tub made this feel like our own personal resort. We loved every minute. It was very relaxing for all 5 of us. We were there with our 3 sons (age 22, 18 and 15) and we all had fun walking the beach, playing in the pool, making fun beach drinks and just relaxing! Each of our kids had their own king sized bed and bathroom-totally luxury!
We never visit anywhere twice but we will be back here!"

"Three couples absolutely, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle Rock House on Tropic of Cancer Beach on Little Exuma. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We either had this amazing beach all to ourselves or shared it with very few people. It is, indeed, a paradise. There was wonderful walking on the beach, kayaking to the Turtle and Alligator Rocks, and a little bit of snorkeling. But the sheer beauty of just being there is the best! The house is quite lovely, simply and tastefully decorated and is very functional. The drive back to Georgetown takes about 30 minutes for shopping, etc. We went to Tropic Breeze and Santanaas Grill in Williamstown for two excellent meals."

"My husband & I were fortunate to spend a week at Johanna's lovely cottage. It was so relaxing & peaceful exactly what we were looking for an anniversary getaway. Johanna was a treat to deal with & had answers to any questions we may have had. The cottage was well equipped & had all you would need. We spent a few nights in barbecuing & cooking, but also enjoyed the evenings we would be out. Like everyone has commented on, Lucky & Sophie were a special treat & we loved having them around. Another added bonus was Edmond, Johanna's caretaker, he was always available if we had any questions or recommendations. A wonderful guy! Exuma's beaches are spectacular, like nothing we've ever seen before. Tropic of Cancer, Forbes Hill, Hooper's Bay, Jolly Hall & even one we discovered on our own were unbelievable. We look forward to returning some day, sooner than later we hope. Thank you again Johanna."

"This is our 3rd visit to Exuma and by far the best ever. We wanted to rent somewhere large enough for our children and grandchildren and this was perfect. There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children, ages 8, 11 and 12. There was more then enough room for all of us. There are 4 french doors all opening out onto the deck over-looking the ocean. There is a screened seating area right off of one of the bedrooms that was perfect for sitting with coffee and a book. The kitchen was soooo big, perfect for all of us to cook. We did cook all our meals, did not go out to eat at all--I don't know why anyone would want to leave Airwood to eat at a restaurant. we all love to cook and each of us brought some food with from the States. We also ate fresh lobster, crab and fish that husband and son caught. There are well-stocked grocery and liquor stores to buy what you need. The house and the Cays community are like a private paradise, all the houses are painted bright tropical colors and there are flowers and palm trees everywhere. The pictures on the web of Airwood and the surrounding Cays don't even come close to how beautiful it is here. The pool was the best for the kids and the Tiki Bar during sunset perfect for sharing a beer or glass of wine with Norman and Julie. Grandpa and the kids fished everyday from the dock. He also went bone-fishing on his own. We rented a boat from Minns water sports 2 different days--1 of the days was very windy and choppy and the other day was perfect with calm waters. On both days, we snorkeled. We did also use the kayaks to paddle out to one of the islands in front of the house and would have done it more, but there were too many other things to do.
Don't know what else to say other then, I want to go back!!!!!!!!"
