"I rented this condo for a week over New Year and could not be happier with the accommodations. The condo is close to the entertainment and beach. We walked everywhere. Lisa has the condo fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. I was really surprised at the level of comfort afforded me for a rental, from the bedding to the towels everything was quality and comfortable. We called the manager and she was at the condo waiting for us when we arrived from the airport. We had two minor issues that needed some attention so I called the property manager and within the hour the appropriate people were there and fixed both problems. You can tell Lisa really cares about this condo. You also can tell Lisa really cares about taking care of her renters. what a great vacation...Thanks Lisa"Guest: pdub Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 8, 2015View listing
"The condo was exactly what our family was looking for. My husband and I traveled with our 3 year old son and were pleased with the accommodations, the size of the condo, and the kitchen amenities. We took a quick taxi ride to a grocery store and stocked up on food and drinks for the condo. I was able to pack a cooler to bring down to the pool and beach with drinks and snacks for us to prevent multiple trips back upstairs to the unit. The town is a very nice 10-15 minute walk down the beach where we went nightly for dinners out. Closer to the unit, we many times had the entire beach to ourselves. The price was unbeatable and we would definitely come back and rent with Lucy again."Guest: Monica P. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: December 29, 2014View listing
"First time to the Bahamas, first time VRBO, absolutely loved the place!!! The owners were professional and so great to deal with, emails were prompt, the advice from them was very very helpful. It was exactly what we were looking for, beautiful beach, quiet, the condo was awesome, had the time of our life. We rented a car which you would pretty much have to, found the grocery stores, and drove all over the island. So safe and people are very friendly and helpful there. We miss it already and will definitely be going back. Thanks Sue and Fred for your condo, we had an amazing time."Guest: susan s. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 30, 2014View listing
"I am comfortable recommending this condo. The location, ocean front, close to Port Lucaya and the bar next door make it the best location on Grand Bahama island. I have been coming to Freeport for 30 years and a few years ago, sold my condo. This place is my choice. I also rent a car when there, and there is ample parking and then you can see all the "things to see and do", and have easy access to the many excellent restaurants. I finally did Peterson's Cay and we felt it was one of the best snorkeling adventures we have ever done. Be sure to select a nice day, not excessively windy and do not go at low tide. Check the on line tide charts. Diana, the owner and Salandra, the office manager are always a pleasure to work with. One of the things that I particularly liked, was the fully stocked kitchen with the open wall to the dining area. The condo is as the pics show. Wonderful."Guest: Fun in the Sun Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 13, 2014View listing
Grand Bahama Travel Tips
Grand Bahama Vacation Rentals Are Gateways to Paradise
The Bahamas is made up of around 700 islands. A mixture of uninhabited and populated islands, Grand Bahama vacation rentals serve as bases to bring you closer to nature. Grand Bahama resorts are only 55 miles from the Florida coastline. You will certainly feel like you got far away from it all though, when you stay at Bahamas resorts.
Grand Bahama Resorts for Spectacular Natural Beauty
Many activities in the area are based around the capital city of Freeport. From Grand Bahama resorts, activities such as diving, golf, duty-free shopping and dancing are within easy reach. Close to Bahamas resorts are miles of pristine beaches. Here you will find solitude and natural beauty. Independent travelers can explore the 60 miles of isolated beaches between Freeport and McLean’s Town at the eastern end of the island. There is no shortages of Grand Bahama vacation rentals on the pristine beaches of the area.
Bahamas Resorts Are Where Time Stands Still
While staying at Grand Bahama resorts, visit Bahamas National Trust Rand Nature Centre. It is just a short trip from Grand Bahama vacation rentals and there are over 100 native species of plants and orchids to see. It is also a great place to see hummingbirds and red tailed hawk. A highlight of any Bahamas resorts tour is a visit to Lucayan National Park where elevated walkways meander through mangrove swamps. Visitors may spot some rare marine species in the sheltered pools. The area also has the world's largest explored underwater cave system. Accessible by means of a boardwalk through the mangrove swamp is Gold Rock Beach, with its large sand dunes, white sand and coral reef. Find your inner pirate at the movie set of “Pirates of the Caribbean” where two ships still remain from the filming.
Grand Bahama Resorts Offer a Wealth of Activity
Grand Bahama vacation rentals offer more energetic pursuits and Bahamas resorts have plenty on offer. There are numerous scuba diving sites available, for both novice and advanced divers. For the experienced diver, there is Shark Junction a 45-foot dive where large reef sharks are common as well as stingrays and moray eels. Game fishing, parasailing, golf, horse riding, and snorkeling are also available while vacationing at Grand Bahama resorts.
