"I recently spent two lovely weeks at Oleander in Dunmore Town on Harbour Island, and it was perfect! Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the ocean, it is perfectly situated down a lovely side street. A very comfortable and charming house, with a well equipped kitchen and lots of wonderful outdoor spaces to choose from. The owners are wonderful, charming and very helpful. I would definitely recommend Oleander and certainly stay there again!!"

"Yellow Bird was a wonderful house for our family. We have three college age children who had the back house while my husband and I had the main house. The new kitchen is amazing! There is plenty of space to relax and enjoy the amazing weather. We spent time at the pool and resting on the bed in the pool cabana. The kids had friends over at night to sit by the pool and have cocktails at the pool bar. We could walk to the Piggly Wiggly and to Daddy D's and the bakery. Truly an amazing vacation spot. The house is convenient and charming. It was great to have a bathroom for every bedroom. We will return!"

"We arrived at the dock by water taxi, on the morn of July 16, to find it was only a short walk to the Blue Dolphin. We could've taken a taxi or a golf cart to our weekend hideout, but we decided to taste the local flavor by hoofing it 3 very short blocks. Don't ya love bags w/wheels? We came off the dock, turned left, (north), and in 5mins we were home. VERY COOL. The staff had the A/C dialed in, and the Dolphin was spacious. We flopped down on the bed, w/smiles on our faces. After a min or so, we unpacked, & got to the business of getting to know "da eye-land". That's always the fun part. Rented a golf cart & cruised around for cpl of hrs. You CANNOT get lost on Harbour Island. "Wax on, Wax off". The bay is west, the ocean east. I cannot say enough about Blue Dolphin sunsets. INCREDULOUS!!! Island food a blk or two away. Ck out Brian's, for some GREAT home cooked food, in a "locals" atmosphere. We had one major glitch in the Blue Dolphin Matrix. NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!😎. Ck it out. If u like local flavor, you'll love it. If u like snooty and presumptuous, go to a resort that separates u from da eye-land cultcha. For a good groove, the Blue Dolphin fits very well. Peace

"Stayed at Little Arches to celebrate Christmas (wife and myself and 22 and 25 year old daughters). All agreed it was best vacation ever – only sadness was realizing on Friday that our week was up and we had to leave the next day!
Kim (owner) was great to work with. Everything was better than advertised, all accommodations were in great shape, very clean and well kept. She provided AWESOME detail on logistics to get to the house (was great – flight was long delayed and we arrived at North Eleuthera tired and after dark but breezed through like pros thanks to her directions and the helpful taxi drivers that know her and pamper her guests). She also gave us the low down on all places to visit, activities to pursue and places to shop and eat. We did not get thought the full of the list, so are already planning the return to continue checking it all out.
The island is a ton of fun with both the friendliest locals and the most awesome beach we have seen (and we have checked out a lot). Little Arches is less than a minute from the beach and we could sit on the upstairs patio and listen to the waves crashing every night. The options for restaurants run the gamut from upscale (The Rock House) to super laid back local fare (conch salads at Queen Conch). The multiple beachfront restaurants are great for any meal and the staff is awesome in coming up with all types of creative local drinks. There are also many options to buy food for cooking yourself and Kim has Little Arches set up to cook and or grill any type of items you are to as well (we cooked in for our Christmas feast).
Have rented properties in a number of locals and found Little Arches the nicest place not only in terms of location and amenities, but the personal attention from the owner. She had not only provided the information noted above, but arranged for our golf cart, checked with us during the stay to ensure all was fine and ensured that we had connected with the maid and were receiving all the services we needed.
Can’t wait to go back!"
