  • Another wonderful stay

"We had a wonderful time staying here again. Quiet and peaceful place and out of the way of busy tourist spots. Equipped with a high chair and a pack and play which was great for us and our two small children. The water this year was colder than last year, so I would recommend a skin or a wet suit for snorkeling. Recommend Twin Brothers in town for a sampling of local fare."

  • Family of 4 Wonderful Vacation

"We stayed for a week this March - my husband, myself and 2 sons ages 21 and 18! We had a great time and the condo worked out perfect! We loved the spot and were so happy with our decision to stay away from the downtown area (which was very busy). We loved drinking our coffee on the patio looking over the beautiful waters of the Bahamas! We have rented a few condos through VRBO and William was the best owner we have dealt with, he was so helpful and communicated with us many times! We would highly recommend this condo for anyone who is looking to enjoy the beautiful Bahamas!"

  • True beach vacation for entire family

"We have stayed at Manor of Love a total of 4 times. It has all we could possibly wish for on a beach vacation: walking to beach without having to cross any road, excellent kid-friendly pristine beach with medium waves, easy for swimming, great snorkelling, and friendly locals. We have stayed in different over the years and they are all clean, spacious, and have a great view! The Manor also have a nice outdoor area with shade, hammock, and amazing patio furniture if you want to relax a few steps away from the beach as well as a volleyball net. We hope to be back next year!"

  • Home away from home

"The pictures on this site do not do justice to Nadia & Terrou's place. It's beautiful, well decorated and cozy. We were a group of eight and really stretched the "comfort" aspect since this is typically an accommodation for 6 adults. Our group took turns on the pull-out couch because that was the most uncomfortable part about this place. The place is well stocked with linens and towels. We found ourselves using the washer and dryer quite often although a couple of clothing items got mauled by the dryer. However there's a veranda attached to the master bedroom that we used sometimes to dry clothes. The kitchen is cooking friendly for most part. My only crib is that the cooking utensils feel dated and cheap; some of them melted at the slightest heat. If you are a bit of a cook, you might want to bring a spatula and a slotted spoon of your own. Groceries on the islands are expensive in general but cooking is still cheaper than eating out. The pool attached to the property was a fun extra as we were mostly beach bums. It's a nice place to chill for a couple hours, small and quite desolate but charming. Location, location, location. This is why we picked this place and it paid off. The Super Value grocery store is a hop away, RBC, Wendy's Pizza and if you walk a bit on West Bay street or even take the #10 jitney you will find plazas and strips. There are a few beaches within walking distance: cute small one to the right of the main roundabout, much larger one with picturesque pier and gazebo towards Sandyport. Better beaches on the Cable Beach resort strip. The jitney goes all the way to Love Beach from downtown and there numerous public beaches between those two point. If you're adventurous, you'll visit them all. There are also several places to visit on the jitney route like Arawak Cay, the Adastra zoo, Melia straw market and the Caves. If you get to the Caves by noon, you'll find Richard & Andrea's food truck selling delicious Bahamian fare like curry chicken and mutton stew. We went twice just for it. Super Value's prepared meals also have a nice local touch and are good value. Nadia and Terrou are very amiable and friendly. While Nadia picked us up from the airport, we didn't get a chance to meet Terrou. However, they both were very responsive by email and we bothered Nadia with questions a few times when we stayed here. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Nassau the first time and I would pick it again on my next trip."
