Better than ever!
"This was the 4th consecutive year my husband and I have rented this spacious, comfortable villa for at least 2 weeks in late February (so we have obviously always enjoyed it), but this year, we were delighted to discover that the owners had completely renovated the kitchen, up-dated the bathrooms, and re-painted...so the place is nicer than ever (not "luxurious," but fresh and bright). AND it's impossible to exaggerate the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the unit! We love Viola's (the friendly on-site bar/grill) and Anthony's (a restaurant within walking distance which offers the best black bean soup in the world), and my husband, who likes to play a little blackjack on vacation, loves the short walk to the Atlantis casino. (We always rent a car so we can "cross the bridge" for groceries and the occasional fancy restaurant meal...try Graycliff, Luciano's and Matisse...but not necessary to have a car, especially for a short stay when it's not necessary to stock a lot of groceries, as one can easily get a taxi.) I should add that the owners are also a pleasure to deal with. The ONLY negative has nothing to do with the villa itself, but the pool in the complex...it's pretty and sparkling clean, but it's unheated...so it's FRIGID (at least in February...may be fine later in the year)."

"Wonderful week passed at this marvelous townhouse so well located with breathtaking views of the sea , the Atlantis, all the Sunrise. You feel like you are on a beautiful Boat all the time surrounded with beautiful coloured waters. The huge veranda at the back is so confortable with all the lounge chairs and the dinner table is so well located under the fan with the barbecue just besides , that you live and stay outside, all day! From the veranda you go just besides the pool as it is your own or you go in the sea for nice snorkeling or swim by the Deck just in front . Always a nice breeze in the afternnoon and evening! The beach is beautiful and just near you. The three rooms and bathrooms are very confortable and well decorated with a nice marine style. The views from the third floor master bedroom is breathtaking! You have everything you need in the kitchen for cooking. This inspiring villa is so well located to visit the Island. We rented a car mini-van with Barbara that met us at the airport and helped us to feel at ease with everything and for the drive from the left side of the road. A new challenge for my husband and us as copilots.
Went to paradise Island to Atlantis for a day with a pass for aquarium and beach. If you arrive around 1000am easy to get any passes. Jaw Beach at Clifton Heritage Park is a GEM near Lyfford Cay. You can see stingrays in the sea. The color of water is amazing! Love beach is excellent for snorkeling and beautiful long beach. We did the excursion to Exuma with power Boat adventures! amazing! Worthwhile to do! Beautiful colour of waters and feel like paradise! Feed the stingrays Sharks ! Iguanas!
We have a wonderful time at this beautiful townhouse in Delaporte Point! Felt very safe with security's guards and so near everything you need as groceries , restaurants and visits to the Island!
Thanks to Roger and his wife for sharing this beautiful paradise in the Bahamas!
All our family members and friends that looked at our pictures felt in love with the place and want to come to this place they called

"My family and I stayed at this lovely property from July 30th-August 6th, 2015 and it was absolutely wonderful. The photos online truly capture the exquisiteness of this rental property: stunning lacquered hardwood floor and ceiling, a spacious kitchen with adequate utensils that allowed us to cook full meals, and well decorated dining and living rooms on the first level. Upstairs is a huge master bedroom, plus two other spacious bedrooms with queen and double twin beds. The entire house was very clean! And if you’re not yet sold, here’s the kicker: there were souvenirs on every bed for the taking.
The house is located in a quiet, upscale residential neighborhood, with the beach just five minutes away. Others have complained about dogs barking at nights and disturbing their rest, but we heard no dogs, and we not have noticed anyway because we were busy soaking up the awesomeness of this locale. This property is at the farthest eastern end of the island, but don’t let this point on the map discourage you, for the island is only about 21 miles in length - east to west. Everything is within a 5-10 minutes drive (supermarkets, pharmacies, fast food, hospital/clinic, etc.).
Internet at the house allowed me to communicate back home via Skype and WhatsApp, which was very useful. Bryan was also gracious in allowing us to host a small gathering at the house to celebrate my uncle’s 60th birthday (that in itself speaks volumes).
You definitely need a rental if you’re going to stay here, for there is no “reliable” bus service from this end. I would recommend renting from one of the US-based rental car companies—they are so much cheaper than the local ones. Once you get your rental from the airport, take the northern coast for a scenic route to the house – it took me 25 minutes (a straight drive once on the coast…awesome!!).
Bryan, thanks for a lovely stay and for your generosity outside of the confines of our rental contract, and for allowing me to raid one of your coconut trees out back and rid it of about 20 water coconuts (that’s an $80 value in Nassau). Climbing that coconut tree took me back to my childhood days in the countryside of Guyana.
We’ll be back!
Thanks again from the Pluck family."
