  • Perfect spot

"We recently visited this cottage for a week in October and could not have been happier! If you're reading this and contemplating staying here do yourself a favor and stay here! Your hosts are fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, you'll have everything you need for a great vacation on the island. There's a reason every review for this place has 5 stars and our review would give more if VRBO would let us. It's possible to stay here without a car and get around but we highly recommend you rent one. You'll get to so many more places and groceries and such having a car speaks itself. Your hosts will be very helpful with any questions and they know of all great the restaurants and help with navigating assistance and directions around the island. They are great! We will be thrilled to stay here again. Brian and Katie from California"

  • Better than ever!

"This was the 4th consecutive year my husband and I have rented this spacious, comfortable villa for at least 2 weeks in late February (so we have obviously always enjoyed it), but this year, we were delighted to discover that the owners had completely renovated the kitchen, up-dated the bathrooms, and re-painted...so the place is nicer than ever (not "luxurious," but fresh and bright). AND it's impossible to exaggerate the convenience of having a washer/dryer in the unit! We love Viola's (the friendly on-site bar/grill) and Anthony's (a restaurant within walking distance which offers the best black bean soup in the world), and my husband, who likes to play a little blackjack on vacation, loves the short walk to the Atlantis casino. (We always rent a car so we can "cross the bridge" for groceries and the occasional fancy restaurant meal...try Graycliff, Luciano's and Matisse...but not necessary to have a car, especially for a short stay when it's not necessary to stock a lot of groceries, as one can easily get a taxi.) I should add that the owners are also a pleasure to deal with. The ONLY negative has nothing to do with the villa itself, but the pool in the complex...it's pretty and sparkling clean, but it's unheated...so it's FRIGID (at least in February...may be fine later in the year)."

  • Great stay with baby

"My husband, 11 month old baby and I spent 8 days at Cedar Pine Villa in Mar/Apr 2015. This was our first time renting a private vacation home and for that reason we initially felt cautious (especially paying in full prior to arrival). However, the reviews were great and our communication with Elrena by phone and email was extremely prompt and professional. I'm so glad we trusted our instincts because we could not have had a better vacation. Everything was exactly as advertised and described by previous reviewers. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and looked better than the pictures. It is well stocked with everything we needed, including a high chair, playpen with change station and a car seat. The taxi company Elrena and Raphael recommend also have a car seat. In terms of location, we found it very convenient and a nice retreat after a day out. It is a 5-7 min walk to the bus stop, 3-4 min walk to the grocery store/Wendy's/Marco's Pizza (excellent pizza!), and near a plaza that has other stores/restaurants, including a Starbucks. In terms of beach access, there are a couple access points to Cable Beach off side streets beside Sandals (10-15 min walk) and the Melia resort (20 min walk or bus ride). There is also a beach near Sandyport (15 min walk in other direction). We also loved having the pool to enjoy while our daughter napped. It truly was a home away from home. Elrena and Raphael could not have been better hosts. They were available when we needed them, but we also felt we had a lot of privacy. If you are looking to stay in Nassau, this is the place to be!"

  • Excellent stay

"We went their with our family of 3 generations including 2 young kids. Angela is probably one of the best hosts we have ever met. Very affable and helpful. She was living on the property when we were there and she helped us out with everything we asked for. We had a blast here for a week. I am writing this review almost a month after returning from this place because my 4 yo suddenly started to reminisce about this place. I am looking forward to staying at this place again in the future (if Angela still manages it)."
