  • Quiet Exuma Getaway.

"Exuma is a beautiful island. A great place to go if you want to relax with a a good book or rest in a comfortable hammock with an amazing view. Johannas place is as lovely as she is. It is clean and well equipped with everything you would probably need. Her location is on a very quiet part of the island. (Probably 20 minutes from Georgetown) We were able to use her 2 kayaks to kayak to beautiful little deserted islands. We also kayaked down to the new Turquoise Cay ($$$$) Restaurant (Excellent food and ambience). We snorkeled once out in front of the dock. Not a lot to see under water compared to other islands that we've been to. The best part of Exuma is the views! Favorite meals were at Santana's $22 double lobster tails and Latitudes - good food and fun bartender Alex!"

  • Over The Top Fabulous!

"Stunning views, immaculately clean, minimalist charm, we had everything we could ask for plus the sounds of the waves...would recommend to anyone, it could not have been more comfortable and joyful. We like to visit different places...but will certainly consider returning to this spot just because it was so perfect for us. Spent 11 days, could have stayed forever. Our only regret was that the wind was unusually strong during our stay so we did not use the beach, swim out front or make use of the paddle board or kayaks, or sit on our deck for meals. But the beauty of Eleuthera is that if it's windy on one side, good chance it's not on the other - so we spent lots of time exploring the stunning "Caribbean" side. Great snorkeling, deserted beautiful beaches. Cayo Loco supplies really nice beach chairs and towels - we took these with us everywhere, they were much appreciated! Bring a small cooler (we left one there) for lunches as who wants to leave the beach once you get there? Take Maureen up on her offer to supply coconut water - refreshing morning drink. Eleuthera itself was just our speed - have never visited the Bahamas because our impression was that they are very touristy. Not so here...Eleuthera is a true throw back in time. The local people as well as all the expats we met could not be more kind and gracious, it is one of the safer islands we have ever visited. And Cayo Loco is one of the nicest vacation homes we have ever rented. Kudos to Maureen and Alan."

  • ocean villa property

"Beautiful property and very functional for a family. We especially enjoyed the private pool and access to the ocean for snorkeling. Beach access requires a car rental as well as visiting the town. We enjoyed our welcome from private chef Sweeting and his excellent treats. Owner was extremely responsive for any request."

  • Fabulous Location

"Two Moms needed a get away and this was the place of our dreams! Our own private pool and very comfortable accommodations. Everything you need is at the house. Angela greeted us at the airport where we rented a car and took us to the grocery store. The house is the perfect location to see the Island. Close to downtown and various beaches. And so very peaceful! We highly recommend this house for those that dislike resorts and crowds. We used the pool every day."

Bahamas Travel Tips

Access the Caribbean with a Stay at Bahamas Resorts

Visiting the Bahamas can be an exhilarating experience for the entire family as well as a newly married couple. With plenty of beaches and local culture to absorb, Bahamas resorts allow you to experience the hospitality and talent of the islands’ residents too.

Water Adventures near Bahamas Resorts

Among the 23 inhabited islands of the Bahamas, there are several choices in Bahamas beach rentals for the water-lovers in your family. Parasailing, swimming, sunbathing, diving and snorkeling are all popular activities on the islands once known to be inhabited by pirates. Search for your ideal choice in Bahamas vacation rentals for either a beachfront location or one found near the local nightlife and markets.

Experience a Sunset You Won’t Forget in Bahamas Beach Rentals

If you are lucky enough to have a view of the horizon and watch the sunset each evening from any of the Bahamas resorts, you’ll first be astounded at the beauty that the local residents have access to on a daily basis. You may also be lucky enough to capture a glimpse of a “green flash,” experienced when the sun sets over the blue-green Caribbean waters seen from your Bahamas beach rentals. Some visitors to Bahamas vacation rentals will seek out oceanfront dining in order to hunt for the ideal view to catch this flash during their stay.

Reserve Bahamas Vacation Rentals for Modern Luxuries in Caribbean Beauty

Bahamas resorts always offer you spa and salon services such as massages and facials, but the islands also tout several other activities the entire family can partake in. Take a stroll down the main streets of your island to find local artwork and souvenirs to tote back to your Bahamas beach rentals. Many Bahamas vacation rentals are also located near gaming venues, fine dining and even local golf courses to accommodate your every whim.
