  • Dreamsicle Island Vacation

"Great location in the white sound area of Elbow Key. Walking distance to Sea Spray Marina, full service marina, restaurants, bar and pool. Your able to use the pool when you spend money at Sea Spray. The Kids loved this!!!! The cottage retreat is colorful, clean, well equipped and accessible to all points of interest on the island. Seat in the hammock and read, scuba dive, and fishing is right around the corner. Exploring the island on your golf cart ( which must people use) is a must. This was truly a exceptional vacation!! I would not hesitate to recommend this property."

  • Perfect for couples

"This is the perfect rental for couples. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are identical in size and side by side so it makes it easy when you're traveling with another couple. The house is very clean and well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and a microwave. The location is perfect - it's right on the bay with incredible views. We thoroughly enjoyed spending evenings out by the dock. The location is just a short golf cart away from everything you need including the grocery store, Nippers, Grabbers and the beach. We definitely plan to stay there again."

  • We're already planning our next vacation to the SeaJay House

"We loved staying at the SeaJay House. If you're looking for natural, untouched beauty with few people, the SeaJay House is the place for you. The home sits on 9 acres of oceanfront. The house itself needs maintenance, but has a similar feel of many rental homes on Eleuthera. The property sits on a bluff overlooking the ocean. A quick walk down the hill takes you to the 2 beaches which sit immediately on the property, one with coral and sand, the other mostly sand with large rocks, both with beautiful orange beach and a touch of pink. We spent each sunrise and many days on these beaches, and never saw another person at the beach the entire length of our stay. Just north of the property, there is a pink sand beach. The water is shallow, clear, and the ocean current allows for good snorkeling around large corral rock formations. The home has 2 large bedrooms, more than enough space for 2 people per each bedroom. The living room is generous and the view is unobstructed to the Atlantic Ocean. We have teenage children, and the area was safe enough where the children could walk the beaches and Old Queens Highway by themselves with no problems for miles. There are other ruins on the property which make for fun exploration for adults and teens. Due to the natural state of the property, and the state of the older structures on the property, parents should maintain constant supervision of young children. If you're hungry, the house has a full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, plates, glasses, and utensils. Take a 5 minute drive into town to Governors Harbour for lobster and fish caught by local fisherman, or enjoy a meal at Tippy's, Pammy's, or the Buccaneer Club. The One-Stop-Shop grocery store has most of your needs, with a liquor store attached stocked with local beer and rum. From the SeaJay House property, the Sky Beach Club is 3/4 of a mile north, and is accessible via a short walk. Bring good walking shoes. If you rent a car, get an SUV or minivan - the property driveway to new Queens Highway is uneven and has the natural feeling of a Jurassic Park movie. SeaJay House is not a four or five star hotel, with perfectly manicured accommodations and grounds. It's charm is that the home feels like someone's house, and needs minor repair. However, if you're like us, love natural beauty with no one else around, enjoy adventure, and want a break from luxury hotel chains, SeaJay House is your place. We highly recommend this property."

  • Well worth the trip to Andros!

"Our family had an excellent time in one of Trevor's beach cottages. We spent 7 days on Andros and were well looked after by Trevor, Princess and Mario. The kitchen and laundry were great and we were happy with our beach front cottage, merely steps from the beautiful water. Cell phone and TV worked great! Snorkeling from the cottage was fine, not coral, but we did see fish, especially at low tide. Things close on Sunday's so make sure you have food and water. The National Park is a short drive from here and you can access two in-land Blue Holes with walkways. Make sure to stop by the Park headquarter at Fresh Creek during the week, the people who work there are wonderful and can point you in the right direction for birding as well. Rainbow Blue Hole is up the road a little way from the cottage by bike or car. It's a short walk in but make sure to wear good walking shoes as the coral path is rough and there is a lot of poison wood around. The Blue Hole is beautiful and worth a swim. If you have a car visit North Andros for the cliff, caves and most importantly, the ocean blue hole at the end of Conch Sound Road in Nicholls Town. We only found out about this after talking to a local restaurant owner. You drive to the end of the road, turn left along the water and park at the end. You walk from the shore about 20 feet at low tide. You can see the blue hole from the beach. Snorkeling around the hole was awesome, the current coming out of the hole is strong, you can see great fish! Try and go at low tide, a must visit spot. Just up from the cottage is the Taste and See Restaurant owned by Cinderella, who is a great cook. Call ahead as the schedule varies. This is a great spot. Snorkel trips by boat from Small Hope Bay Resort just south of Davies Creek. The prices as reasonably for a 2 hour trip. We heard that the lunch is good and worth the $18 per person, though we did not go. The neighbors by the cottages are really great. The neighborhood dogs are sweet and part of the rustic charm. Our son lined-fished from the Fresh Creek dock and caught us dinner one night. We talked to everyone around town, people are really nice and we got the best information that way. Conch salad from the yellow shack near the traffic circle in FC was great, so if they are open, stop by. I found out about it from someone living on a sailboat who works at the US Navy Base. We took the Ferry from Nassau, it was a great trip in and I would recommend it. I did take Dramamine."
