  • Stunning house for a perfect vacation!

"My friend and I booked the Amori House for a girlfriends' getaway and we are so happy that we did! The owners were so attentive and helpful from the beginning to the end! They answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions for anything that we could think of- car rental, chef services, restaurants, etc. The house was stunning and had everything we could want for an incredible vacation including snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, pots, pans, and the most amazing air conditioning! It was as comfortable as being at home, but on the most beautiful beach imaginable. We woke up to a stunning view every morning and while we did visit many areas of the island, we could have walked out the back door and stayed at Ten Bay Beach every day and been perfectly happy! We also greatly appreciated the assistance of Anne and Clyde, the house managers, and Teresa at the farm, who were so friendly and helpful. We look forward to going back to the Amori House and feel so fortunate to have found this gem!"

  • All we could have asked for!

"A+! Leapin' Lizards was the perfect getaway for our first ever family vacation. Myself, my four sons, with their wives and children, a total of 14, spent an idyllic holiday on the peaceful island of Elbow Cay. Although it requires an extra effort to get to, it is worth it. The pool was the center of everything, the children spent hours there and the adults gathered there after hours. The Main House had the biggest kitchen and largest dining area, so we did most of our cooking there. I slept in the cottage and fell asleep each night to the sound of waves on the beach. Don't miss sleeping on the seaside bed beneath the stars; glorious! We rented two golf carts to get around the island (don't miss Tahiti Beach) and a 23' Albury center console boat to explore other islands, go snorkeling and fishing. I don't think our vacation would have been complete without either one of them; we spent party every day on the boat. Judy, the property manager, was attentive and answered all our questions and attended to our needs. The house is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Please note: the youngest member of our party was just 18 months old. Because the pool and walkway connecting the two houses is elevated, someone needed to be at his side constantly. It might not be the best choice for travelers with very young children. We loved our choice and hope to return soon."

  • Coral Cove Cottage on Sugar Loaf Cay Abacos

"Awesome two week vacation. We rented a boat with Blue Wave in downtown Marsh Harbor and zipped around the corner to Coral Cove. Nicedeep water access and dock, no steps to cottage. Cottage was bright, sunny, clean, and well appointed with great views out 2 sides and nice screened porch, private beach with swing to watch the sunset. The caretaker, Woodie, was close by in the event we has a question or needed any help for any reason. sugar loaf only has a few residents so we felt we had a private island all to our own. The location is within 30 minutes of all the major Cays: Guana, Great Abaco, Man O War, Elbow (Hope town), Sandy Cay, Little Harbor and just steps away from Abaco Beach Inn/Marina and downtown Marsh Harbor The cottage has full kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dryer, TV and internet and the important VHS radio. We simply loved this place!"

  • Perfect for us

"My family and I stayed for a week in October and The Beach Shack didn't disappoint. The location is perfect with a stunning sunset view. The cottage was very clean and was fully equipped. Anytime we looked for a kitchen item or bar utensil, we found it. We had no complaints for our entire week! There were four of us and it was the perfect size. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. It is exactly what it's called, a Beach Shack. It's not new and fancy but if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay on Staniel, you won't be disappointed. The owner just added a new charcoal grill and since it was off-season and the yacht club was closed for renovation (except the bar), we cooked most of our own meals. The views from the cottage were stunning where you could watch the sunsets, the boats going by or nurse sharks and stingrays swimming by your door. The outdoor space was large with a gazebo, comfortable furniture and a hammock. We found Staniel Cay a couple of years ago and plan to go back at least once a year and we definitely will stay at the Beach Shack again. My only suggestion would be to add some solar outdoor lighting, there were rope lights but we didn't find an extension cord to plug them in. Thank you to the owner for allowing us to use her property."
