  • happy wedding!!!

"We have traveled to Great Guana for about 12 years now; have stayed at many rentals; this is our favorite by far! The pics really don't quite do it justice; it's better in person! The views are to die for, and the beach just out front is the best on the island! Seriously, no rock/coral out front; just the most pristine beach! The owners were very easy to work with, and the caretaker was very reliable. The kitchen has top of the line appliances, and a dishwasher, which is a luxury on this island. The decks (with surround sound) are awesome. We were there for our second child getting married on guana, and our first really enjoyed having the private suite at blue surf to round off her honeymoon! I (almost hate) to recommend this home, as I hope it is readily available to me as we visit guana again and again! BTW, the owner contacted ME to give me back my deposit!"

  • S.C. Family

"We found castle rock on the internet and contacted the owners who were very friendly and helpful. It was a vacation for my family, we had six people, 4 college students and 2adults . The house was set up perfect , each person had their own individual area , the beach was beautiful and the house location was perfect. We came by boat and the owners put us in contct with a private individual who had dock space right down the road for a reosnaable price , it was safe and had all the conveniences you needed to keep your boat along with a fish cleaning station. The people we met on the island were all nice and very helpful. I recommend letting Evelyn cook for you one night and if you have a boat hire a local to fish with you one day, he will let you in on some local knowledge and he only charged 150 for all day. We spent at least 6 to 7 hours a day visiting all the outer islands , fishing , snorkeling and just enjoying the beauthy of the Abacos. One of the best places is the bakery and the extra large cinnamon buns delicious only 5 dollars but they will fill you up. Also if you go by boat pray for good weather, we were there 10 days and the ocean was very calm the entire time ffrom Stuart to Treasure Cay. I highly recommend Treasure Cay as your next vacation destination and Castle Rock is a very good place to stay. We will be going back in the near future."

  • Must do nature tour!

"On May 18 ,my wife and I and our two grandchildren of 11 and 14 went with Ed on a nature tour to see the blue holes. This is a great experience for adults and kids alike. Ed is very knowledgeable about the plants and animals that you will see. This tour is worth the experience even if you are not normally interested in plants and animals. The scenery and the blue holes are spectacular with a lot of fun wildlife along the way. On our first day, Ed told us about a bat cave but weather did not allow us to see it. The kids wanted to see the bats so much that Ed was willing to take us back the next day. I was quite surprised at all the different things that I didn't noticed the first time through. At the end of the tour, Ed had some fresh coconuts that he cut open and shared coconut juice and coconut meat with us. He also had some fruit that he picked in his yard that morning. This was a really great finish to a very enjoyable tour. Ed gave us a short tour of the local communities with a little bit of history. I would highly recommend Ed as your guide for this cultural and nature tour."

  • Relax and Enjoy!

"What can I say, the place is fabulous! A group of us who live, work or camp together chose "A Wenches View" for our winter vacation destination. It was to be one of our best decisions ever. This place had everything from luxurious accommodations to a truly spectacular location. We were looking for a place to relax and this was ideal for that purpose. There are enough things to do to keep our most active members busy as well. We fished, hiked, explored, snorkeled, kayaked, boated around the bay and out into the Atlantic and visited nearby towns for a change of pace. A Wenches View is extremely well maintained and clean. You can have privacy and group areas in which to spend time. Everything you need is there. Back-up water and electrical generation give you the feeling that your safety is a priority. The grounds are beautiful and the views from the building are breathtaking! The owner spent most of the first week with us and his enthusiasm for the islands and the area is contagious. He is a great host and guide and his obvious concern for the condition of the grounds and enjoyment of the guests is outstanding. Many of us were here for two weeks and I'm sure he will see us again in future winter vacations. We are going to spread the word about this truly special place."

Bahamas Travel Tips

Access the Caribbean with a Stay at Bahamas Resorts

Visiting the Bahamas can be an exhilarating experience for the entire family as well as a newly married couple. With plenty of beaches and local culture to absorb, Bahamas resorts allow you to experience the hospitality and talent of the islands’ residents too.

Water Adventures near Bahamas Resorts

Among the 23 inhabited islands of the Bahamas, there are several choices in Bahamas beach rentals for the water-lovers in your family. Parasailing, swimming, sunbathing, diving and snorkeling are all popular activities on the islands once known to be inhabited by pirates. Search for your ideal choice in Bahamas vacation rentals for either a beachfront location or one found near the local nightlife and markets.

Experience a Sunset You Won’t Forget in Bahamas Beach Rentals

If you are lucky enough to have a view of the horizon and watch the sunset each evening from any of the Bahamas resorts, you’ll first be astounded at the beauty that the local residents have access to on a daily basis. You may also be lucky enough to capture a glimpse of a “green flash,” experienced when the sun sets over the blue-green Caribbean waters seen from your Bahamas beach rentals. Some visitors to Bahamas vacation rentals will seek out oceanfront dining in order to hunt for the ideal view to catch this flash during their stay.

Reserve Bahamas Vacation Rentals for Modern Luxuries in Caribbean Beauty

Bahamas resorts always offer you spa and salon services such as massages and facials, but the islands also tout several other activities the entire family can partake in. Take a stroll down the main streets of your island to find local artwork and souvenirs to tote back to your Bahamas beach rentals. Many Bahamas vacation rentals are also located near gaming venues, fine dining and even local golf courses to accommodate your every whim.
