"My husband and I recently got married on the island. We are both residing in Barbados, but wanted to celebrate our marriage by having a mini honeymoon/ staycation. We were't disappointed. The apartment was the perfect choice for us. As we entered, we noticed how roomy and bright our home away from home was.
With two bedrooms, both with A/C and a pool view, we knew it was just right for our little family of three.
Maria was very attentive in making sure all of our needs were met. We spent most of our staycation by the poolside, just soaking up the sun. We also walked down to the beach a couple of times with our toddler so she could play in the sand.
Mahi- Mahi is the perfect place for those with families or those who just want to honeymoon. It's very clean, comfortable, close to the beach, close to nightlife and the best part is the host family are happy to help in any way possible."

"Set in lovely gardens populated by tortoises, hens and numerous birds the cottages are within a short walk of the beach and frequent buses to Bridgetown. The cottages are fully equipped with large fridge freezer, cooker and microwave if you wish to self cater. Alternatively there are several restaurants within walking distance for eating out. Barbara welcomed us with a cold beer and provided us with some lovely home made cakes during our stay. Whether you want to laze in the gardens, on the beach, explore Barbados or go to the cricket in Bridgetown this is the perfect accommodation"

"My family and I stayed with another couple at 'suits me.' My husband and I have an 18 month old. It was an amazing vacation! The views are absolutely gorgeous! Very short walk to Miami beach which has a 'baby pool' for the little ones. We ended up being at the home when the gentlemen that manages was also on the island. It was fun saying hi as we passed him on a daily basis while we went to the beach. Pat, the owner was also there. It was great sitting with her and getting to hear old stories of the home and her experiences on the island. These are times that we will tell our son about and never forget! Pat is truly a sweet person who wants her guests to feel at home! There is now a pack and play and a travel high chair at the home. Harriet, the housekeeper was no exception either!
We also met some very nice people staying in the studio behind the house and enjoyed sitting and chatting while having a cold banks beer!
If you have a car and want to explore, the island is beautiful and offers many great attractions. If you know where you want to go and can't find it, there is always a local willing to direct you!
The Bajan culture is great. Everyone is incredibly nice. I have been going to Barbados for 6 years now and have met locals that I see year after year. I have the same local braid my hair every year, I buy homemade seasoning from another. Everyone is just so nice."
