"Dear Edward, (c/o Maya's Bajan Villas)
It seems 2 by 2 we all arrived home safely. Thanks again for all of your help. The Villa was everything we could ask for and more. Plenty of room, plenty of towels, plenty of dishes and comfortable beds for everyone.
No air conditioning was never an issue, in fact it was welcomed to have free flowing air and fans to circulate the air quite comfortably. The design of the villa is superb for air flow!
Although this was a newer area for us to stay in, we found our way around very easily. Shopping, beaches, restaurants and the supermarket all nearby. ZR busses took us to many other favourite places.
With social media, I'm sure we've peaked the interest in your Villa to many of our friends.
Johnathan and Sonia were very helpful and only a phone call away if we needed them.
Since I love to take pictures and you love Barbados as much as we do, I'd like to attach my most favourite picture of our vacation. Sunset at Rockley Beach.
Wishing you many happy returns to Barbados and to your beautiful Bajan Villa!
Very Kind regards,
Manuela and Steve"

"We stayed for 1 week at Rio Santos Residences, 1-bedroom/1-bath apartment. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge/freezer, 4-hob burner (no oven), microwave, pots/pans, dishware, cutlery. It was clean and comfortable and secure. It is open-concept with the kitchenette, table/2-chairs, and small living room in one area, a separate large bedroom, and a large bathroom with shower. There is plenty of closet space in the bedroom, as well as a wall safe to store valuables (e.g., passport, ID). The apartment we stayed in is on the upper floor of a 2-apartment unit, which enjoyed wonderful breezes and a sunny roof-top patio (with a somewhat obstructed view of the ocean) reached by a steep ladder/stairs. There is a fan in the main living area and a quiet A/C unit in the bedroom that works quickly and quietly to keep the room cool for sleeping. The apartment is in an excellent location, in a nice residential neighbourhood one block from the main street. A wonderful white sand beach is accessible via a public walkway directly across the main street. A full grocery store is located less than a 5-min walk from the apartment. The much-touted St. Lawrence Gap is within walking distance, as are numerous other restaurants/shops/beaches. Dive and other tour operators out of Bridgetown will do pick-ups from Worthing. The apartment includes a parking space but a car hire is not absolutely necessary unless you plan to tour the full island; everything else you need is within walking distances and/or accessible from the nearby main street by bus. The apartment is in the ideal location for exploring the region - up west are swanky hotels but relatively few walkable amenities; the city of Bridgetown offers little to tourists with respect to places to stay/spend extended time - most hotels/motels/apartments are in this general region for good reason. The apartment is difficult to find on a map but is located right behind "Mojo's" - an open-air pub/restaurant. We were concerned the first night that patrons at Mojo's might keep us awake at night (I'm a light sleeper) but with the bedroom windows closed & the A/C on, this wasn't an issue for us. Because this is apartment-style accommodation for those who might like independence and/or a self-catering option, you should not book this apartment expecting 5-star luxury or perfection. But we loved it and will not hesitate to book again if we are fortunate enough to visit Barbados again."

"Perfect.... Dinner night one in the nearby infamous " Gap" was welcomed after a long flight as was the return home to relaxation with a glass of wine and sounds of the outdoors, not the club scene which was only a 5 minute walk away. Sleep came easy after days in the sun on comfy beds and waking up with coffee on the patio watching birds explore the lime, mango and banana trees in this or the neighbouring yard. We were there over Easter weekend so with store closures, the close proximity to restaurants, grocery, even a coffee bar and of course not to mention a beautiful beach - all within walking distance was ideal. The house was cute and spacious and most importantly, spotless. The decor was what I imagined Barbados decor to be, lovely blue accents on light coloured furniture. This is a place that i would live in in a heartbeat. Already saving our coins to go back ;)"
