What to Expect Weather-Wise in Barbados

The beauty of the Caribbean is that it is beautifully warm and sunny all year-round. Temperatures are always reliably high, between 75 and 85 F (24 to 29 C). If that sounds a little too hot, the prevailing northeast trade winds generally keep the island pleasantly fresh. Barbados does get some rain, generally between July and December, but it falls as short sharp showers which quickly disappear. The island enjoys eight hours of sunshine per day on average, and 10 hours of sunshine per day between January and March, at a time when the northerly United States are shivering!
