  • Best Holiday Ever

"I loved staying at Mullins Heights Barbados. I truly fell in love with the island and the people. The owners were really lovely and nothing was to much for them, they organised a car to meet us at the airport as we have never been to the island before and also arranged for us to have some basic provisions for when we arrived. The apartments were clean and tidy and perfect for me, my husband and our son. There was everything in the apartment that we need so cooking for my son was very easy. The beach was only a short distance away where we did lots of water sports and relaxing. The nearest towns were only 10 minutes away on bus so a car is not really needed. I would like to thank the owners for such a fantastic holiday and if we return to Barbados we would come back to Mullins Heights"

  • Relaxing and Excellent Vacation Rental!

"Our three week March stay at Lynly Manor was most relaxing and enjoyable. Lynne and Lyle, our hosts and owners, were very gracious and helpful in all areas of our needs. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was well equipped for all our cooking and daily requirements. To have a washer and dryer on site was a bonus, especially where we were staying for 3 weeks. The on-site internet connection made it possible to keep in touch with our family and friends often. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Mullins Beach is just a short walk and once there we could either relax at that beach or walk a bit further along the beach to Gibbs Beach. For travel over the Island a car is not required. Local buses are within a 5 minute walk. The government (blue) buses run on a defined schedule and for $2.00 Barbados you can go anywhere on the island (just ask for a transfer if needed). The private (yellow) buses are also $2.00 per ride but you can’t ask for a transfer. These (yellow) buses will pick up and drop off at the bus stops and sometimes anywhere along the road! We would highly recommend staying at Lynly Manor for your vacation in Barbados."

  • Six months of tropical Barbados

"We just finished a six month stay with Yvette and Ed Samuel they were very welcoming and helped us enjoy or stay. The photo's that are on this site are very accurate and reflect a nicely furnished two bedroom apartment, that is quite well appointed and very clean. Ed is retired and is available all the time to help if you have things you need and he is constantly working on his property, gardening, building (at present is working on a covered patio with a BBQ area), the mango's that grow on the property are fantastic and in the seasons that they ripen there were more than we could eat, there are also other tropical fruit depending on the season. This property is located in a very quiet residential community and from our experience very safe we did not even hear of any issues the entire time we were there. The village of Mile and a Quarter is a short walk 10min and has a bakery service station and a great market that has almost all the groceries and supplies you would need as well as a hardware store. Bus transportation is available from Mile and a Quarter and from there you can access the network of bus routes to anywhere on the island. The beach that is closest is a 40min walk down hill or in our case a 5min. drive, we had a car during our stay and enjoyed the freedom to travel where and when we wanted. The extra bedroom or studio apartment is accessed by a separate door and is very nice with private bath and a full kitchen this could be a little more clear in the description. Speightstown is the closest larger town and is a really great place with a very long history and a more historic look and some great places to eat and drink one of our favorites was the Orange Street Grocer. We recommend this property for those seeking a quite stay away from the typical touristy beach scene."
