  • Relaxing and Excellent Vacation Rental!

"Our three week March stay at Lynly Manor was most relaxing and enjoyable. Lynne and Lyle, our hosts and owners, were very gracious and helpful in all areas of our needs. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was well equipped for all our cooking and daily requirements. To have a washer and dryer on site was a bonus, especially where we were staying for 3 weeks. The on-site internet connection made it possible to keep in touch with our family and friends often. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. Mullins Beach is just a short walk and once there we could either relax at that beach or walk a bit further along the beach to Gibbs Beach. For travel over the Island a car is not required. Local buses are within a 5 minute walk. The government (blue) buses run on a defined schedule and for $2.00 Barbados you can go anywhere on the island (just ask for a transfer if needed). The private (yellow) buses are also $2.00 per ride but you can’t ask for a transfer. These (yellow) buses will pick up and drop off at the bus stops and sometimes anywhere along the road! We would highly recommend staying at Lynly Manor for your vacation in Barbados."

  • Paradise Found

"We chose the Weston house to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. And we are glad we did! Arriving frazzled and hungry from the flight and travel, Deborah and her team immediately made feel relaxed and welcomed. They took care of everything. After purchasing groceries, I was ready to put them away. "No, no, we will do that." said Deborah and they took them and put them away for us. At that point I realized, now this is the start of vacation. On Saturday night, Deborah had a delicious meal of flying fish and chicken prepared and served to us. For breakfast, we were on our own, which was nice because it gave everyone time to linger at their own morning pace. Since we had 2 toddlers and a baby with us, we did not venture out too much. Though, we did go to the Barbados Wildlife Reserve (Deborah's suggestion) and the St. Nicholas Abbey. Otherwise, we lounged around the pool, the gazebo and the beach. Weston House had a kayak which our family really enjoyed. We snorkled, swam, lounged and made sand castles on their lovely and peaceful beach. I cannot say enough about the Weston House. We had enough room for all 9 of us to spread around. Deborah and her team were warm, friendly and helpful. And by the way, Deobrah is an amazing cook, she even shared recipes with me. For me, one of the highlights of this vacation was everyday they did our laundry. I felt like a queen. For our 40th Wedding anniversary we wanted a vacation that our family and us could remember for years and years. The Weston House delivered that and more. Thank you Deborah, Alisia & Victoria for a vacation of a lifetime! Eileen, Ken & family."

  • “Tropical Pearl Offers Unforgettable Memories” – Simply awesome

"My husband and I would describe our stay at Tropical Pearl intriguing, relaxing and invigorating after coming from our hectic schedules and commuting in Toronto. We arrived at this apartment on July 21st and stayed for one month. We were pleasantly surprised with the luscious surroundings of greenery and colours of red, lilac and yellow flowers which brought back pleasant memories of our honeymoon. The apartment is very well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, cutlery etc. If there is something you require otherwise, you can ask Yvette or Ed and they will get it for you. You will hear the birds chirping in the morning. You can also pick fruit of your choice and look at the tropical fish which includes tilapia in their five fish ponds. If you are lucky, you get your tilapia for dinner from the fish pond. Yvette and Ed were very committed to making our stay as enjoyable as it was. We are already planning for next year’s trip. We would definitely recommend persons seeking to get away from it all to stay at “Tropical Pearl”."

St. Philip Travel Tips

Getting to St. Philip Vacation Rentals

The Grantley Adams International Airport is the main access point for the island of Barbados. The airport hosts regularly scheduled flights from most Caribbean, North American, and European airlines. To get from the airport to your vacation home, you can make use of the local taxi service, hire a car, or for that special occasion, rent a limousine.

Things to See and Do near St. Philip Resorts

When staying at St. Philip, you can be as active or as leisurely as you like. Enjoy the stunning beaches, work on your tan and take a refreshing swim in the sea from time to time. Watch the sunrise from your porch or take an early morning stroll along the beach. There are few things that compare to the beauty of an ocean sunrise.

Barbados has a number of interesting historic and cultural sites. The island was once a major hub for the slave trade, and there are a number of monuments and museums on the island that are interesting to visit. There are several old Anglican Church buildings that you can visit and walk around. The beautiful architecture of St. Philip Church, St. Catherine’s Church or the Holy Trinity Church will astound you; they all make excellent subjects for photographs.

Rum has been a large part of the Barbados industry over the years. Take an excursion to the Four Square Rum Distillery and Heritage Park where you can tour the rum factory. The grounds of the heritage used to be a children’s amusement park but it is no longer in operation. It is still nice to stroll the grounds though.

Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the 18-hole championship Barbados Golf Club. The golf course is located on the southern side of the island and has fantastic views from the greens. It became a PGA approved golf course in 2003.

Stylish Comfort at St. Philip Villas

In recent years, St. Philip has been the location of several new residential developments. Many of the homes in these developments are available as vacation rentals, offering guests a chance to experience the tranquility of St. Philip. The villas are built in a variety of styles but almost all are stylishly furnished with modern textiles and appliances. Many have sweeping views over the bay and easy access to the beachfront. Large wooden decks provide an area where you can enjoy social gatherings or dine al fresco on a warm summer night. The homes are generally quite large and can accommodate families or small groups of friends. Spacious living areas ensure that you never feel crowded. Perhaps one of the great benefits of the vacation homes in St. Philip is that they offer an affordable accommodation option when staying in Barbados.
