  • Perfect! Fantastic Views; Cool Ocean Breezes!

"Exactly as pictured and meticulously cleaned for our arrival; well appointed with most everything you need for your stay. We stayed for a week in March and really enjoyed Oasis del Caribe and this unit. Carolyn was great to work with for our booking and very responsive to our needs, providing lots of helpful advice and recommendations for us. Oasis del Caribe complex is very well maintained - we saw the pool being cleaned twice every day! The location is perfect; everything is within walking distance and every morning we enjoyed cinnamon rolls from Casa Pan Dulce which is about a two-minute walk. We didn't bother renting a golf cart as everything that we wanted was within easy walking distance, however if you are more interested in relaxing than walking, a golf cart would come in handy for picking up groceries, dining out and such. The condo is on the 3rd floor and the walk up is well worth it for the views and the cool breeze from the ocean when you're enjoying a drink on the balcony or on the roof-top, which affords you a full panoramic view of San Pedro. We recommend Richie's for groceries - best prices and selection, and the small liquor store just north of Richie's on the same side of the street. The store owner recognized us after 2 visits and started discounting our purchases without us even asking. The people of San Pedro are very warm and friendly and we were quite comfortable walking the streets and beaches. For lunch one day, we had Pork Burritos from Waraguma on Pescador (middle street) which were absolutely delicious, as were Frozen Margaritas from Wayo's Beach Bar just next door. Do yourself a favor and book a snorkeling trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley; we used Searious Adventures; they picked us up by boat virtually right in front of Oasis del Caribe, and will drop you off there as well - cost was $70.00 USD (includes Marine Reserve fees of $10.00/pp) for 2 hours of guided snorkeling (ask for Eddie for your guide!). The excursion was the highlight of our trip, even better than the snorkeling off of Curacao which I didn't think possible. Thank you so much, Carolyn - we hope to return some day. We certainly won't need to shop around for accommodations!"

  • beautiful and confortable house

"We spent 5 nights at Villa Coccinelle and recommend it for a family or friends traveling together. we had 8 friends and we found the house very comfortable. The house is wide, confortable and well equipped. the 2 kayaks allow you to get to Ile Pinel and there are a lot of lovely beaches ( Anse Marcel and Orient )close to house . The property provided wifi/internet access and Bruno was very easy to reach bruno during our stay. A rental car is necessary, shopping and dining are a short car trip away."

  • Great hospitality and comfort

"This house provides visitors with everything needed for a perfect holiday. The owner Angela Cleare is the epitome of friendliness, hospitality and knowledge. The location makes travel to all parts of the island extremely simple. The amenities are first class and free phone calls are an additional bonus. There is a large enclosed yard and swimming pool. Additionally,a separate self-contained apartment affords an extra plus for those renting. We have enjoyed our holidays here on two occasions so far and hope to return again in spring 2015."

  • This property is beautiful and as advertised.

"We had two families staying at this property. It was perfect! The teenagers stayed on the beautiful second floor using the pullout couches while the rest of the families split up the remaining bedrooms on the first and third floors. The house had every amenity and was wi fi equipped. The combo of the pool and beach was ideal for our group. The kids made full use of both and Leon had a stash of beach and pool toys. Very few people on the beach. Snorkeling was best at the other end of the beach but we had some fish to enjoy right off our end of the beach. Very well equipped kitchens but we mainly used the second floor kitchen for family meals. For a change of pace, we occasionally made the very short walk down the beach to Compass Point Resort for lunch or dinner. The house was spotless and very well maintained. We wanted to be away from the hustle of downtown Nassau but, if you go, give yourself at least 45 minutes to get downtown and find parking. Leon was very easy to work with and we would highly recommend this property."
