  • at home in Barbados! Great Hosts, great location

"We stayed at Lynly Manor for 2 weeks during the Christmas Holidays (2014) with our 6 year old daughter. It exceeded our expectations in a big way. The description of the property was very accurate and well equipped. The apartment was even better than the pictures! Beautiful Mullins Beach is less than a 5 minutes walk down the street. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our hosts were very gracious, extremely helpful with everything that might occur. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Mullins Beach is just a short walk or a bit further there is Gibbs Beach. Monkeys on coconout trees, it was so surprising! No mosquito at all (in December…) The nearest Supermarket is 1,5 miles away. Wonderful and strategic location for visiting Barbados For travel over the Island a car is not required. If you need, Trevor’s taxi service (246) 257- 7475 or Malachi are highly recommended, honest and reasonable charges. Local buses are within a 5 minute walk. It was wonderful to stay on the wonderful and exclusive West Coast, but far removed from overcrowded resorts. Lynly Manor is excellent value for the money. Do not hesitate! Thank you Lynne and Lyle"

  • Fabulous

"This place is excellent. My wife and I have stayed at a number of places all over Barbados - Christchurch, St. James, St. Lucy. But we really felt at home here. We get hot and always need fans. Here was so cool and breezy at all times. It was amazing. There is AC in the bedroom but we did not need it. One warning, secure the doors because the wind will slam them quickly for you. <smile> The bed is huge and comfortable. It has some kind of special mattress. The decor is clean, fresh and islandy (I made this word up myself). Everything was flawless. If you want to relax and read a book, walk down to the extremely close beach, take a brief bus to town, it is all possible and easy from here. The owners are warm and friendly and at the same time respect your privacy. We would stay here again in a second. All the little things were thought of - towels, soap, electric kettle, microwave, books to read, fans. We saw no bugs or insects. It was immaculately clean. Highly recommended! It is BETTER than the pictures."

  • “Tropical Pearl Offers Unforgettable Memories” – Simply awesome

"My husband and I would describe our stay at Tropical Pearl intriguing, relaxing and invigorating after coming from our hectic schedules and commuting in Toronto. We arrived at this apartment on July 21st and stayed for one month. We were pleasantly surprised with the luscious surroundings of greenery and colours of red, lilac and yellow flowers which brought back pleasant memories of our honeymoon. The apartment is very well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, cutlery etc. If there is something you require otherwise, you can ask Yvette or Ed and they will get it for you. You will hear the birds chirping in the morning. You can also pick fruit of your choice and look at the tropical fish which includes tilapia in their five fish ponds. If you are lucky, you get your tilapia for dinner from the fish pond. Yvette and Ed were very committed to making our stay as enjoyable as it was. We are already planning for next year’s trip. We would definitely recommend persons seeking to get away from it all to stay at “Tropical Pearl”."

  • AMAZING!

"My family and I stayed with another couple at 'suits me.' My husband and I have an 18 month old. It was an amazing vacation! The views are absolutely gorgeous! Very short walk to Miami beach which has a 'baby pool' for the little ones. We ended up being at the home when the gentlemen that manages was also on the island. It was fun saying hi as we passed him on a daily basis while we went to the beach. Pat, the owner was also there. It was great sitting with her and getting to hear old stories of the home and her experiences on the island. These are times that we will tell our son about and never forget! Pat is truly a sweet person who wants her guests to feel at home! There is now a pack and play and a travel high chair at the home. Harriet, the housekeeper was no exception either! We also met some very nice people staying in the studio behind the house and enjoyed sitting and chatting while having a cold banks beer! If you have a car and want to explore, the island is beautiful and offers many great attractions. If you know where you want to go and can't find it, there is always a local willing to direct you! The Bajan culture is great. Everyone is incredibly nice. I have been going to Barbados for 6 years now and have met locals that I see year after year. I have the same local braid my hair every year, I buy homemade seasoning from another. Everyone is just so nice."
