  • Bimini Sands Resort and Marina - Excellent Rental!

"We rented condo at Bimini Sands Resort and Marina and had an awesome week! We were two couples (40-50) and our two daughters (17-21). The condo has two very comfortable bedrooms downstairs plus a large sectional couch and futon upstairs - the girls slept on the couch and were very comfortable except that we woke them pretty early every morning. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which was very convenient plus a third bathroom upstairs off the kitchen. There are three balcony/decks one is off the kitchen and faces the other condos with a barbeque, another balcony is off the living room facing the ocean, which was beautiful at any time of day, but especially while drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sun set at night. It was so nice to be able to access the beach right from the back deck off the main bedroom. The condo is well stocked with linens and towels and the washer/drier was great to have, especially for the towels. You should try to pick up food for the week prior to coming to South Bimini. There are some groceries that you can buy at the resort or on North Bimini, but not much in the line of meat, fruits or vegetables. We stocked up on most of our perishables in Nassau and we could have waited to buy our alcohol at "Booze and Screws" in South Bimini since it was so cheap, but bought at the duty free shop instead. The beach is just out your back door and has a quick drop off so you didn't have far to go for swimming. I have never seen such clear and warm water, but be a bit careful as you could see a sting ray or shark swim by at any time. We enjoyed watching the boats going by at all times of the day and night. We rented a boat one day and toured North Bimini and snorkelled out at the Sapona - it was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for more with this condo...it has everything you need. We hope some day to return and would love to stay in the same rental."

  • A perfect sanctuary- what a wonderful villa.

"From the moment we arrived at Cap Pavilion, we knew we had reached somewhere truly special. We were greeted warmly at the airport by Cecil and driven in the 4x4 across the island to this amazing private sanctuary: perched on the top of a hill- we soon realised that the views from this villa would be some of the most beautiful of the island we would see during our whole trip. The villa is really quite wonderful. It mixes old fashioned charm with 21st century luxury. The bathrooms and bedrooms were furnished to an exceptionally high standard, and were kept spotlessly clean each day. It is clear that we were in a property that was beautifully considered, nurtured and loved. There were so many parts of the villa to discover, and endless peaceful spots to watch the sunset. The main living room is a fantastic room: we spent hours whiling away time reading books, playing board games and listening to sounds of the tropical wildlife outside. The gorgeous swimming pool was perfectly sheltered for the toddler in our group, and was another incredibly quiet and comfortable area to relax in. One of the most lovely aspects of our stay at Cap Pavilion was being treated to Sandrine's fantastic cooking. She did all of our food shopping for us, and we really felt like we were being spoilt! Breakfast was an amazing selection of local fresh tropical fruits, breads, and any hot food we requested. Each evening we had a delicious 3-course meal, Caribbean-style with a quirky twist- all made from local produce, and freshly cooked. There was something different every night and we were always left feeling heartily full after every meal! It really was such a luxury. The house staff were completely unobtrusive, and yet always so forthcoming if we needed anything: from food requests, to some amazing tips on where to visit on the island- they catered to all our needs discreetly and without fuss. There was nothing better than returning from a day of exploring to be greeted by a cup of tea, a slice of Sandrine's home baking, and a well earned dip in the pool. As seasoned explorers, we rarely visit the same place twice- but this is a place we we have already promised ourselves that we will return to. We would unreservedly recommend Cap Pavilion to couples, groups and families alike. This is truly an incredible and unique place."

  • Great Relaxing Getaway in Eleuthera

"A few weeks ago my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this great Eleuthera getaway. Most everyone knows how stunningly beautiful the water is in the Bahamas but when you combine that with a well appointed and comfortable home you are in for a special treat. Whether you are active or just want to relax there is plenty to satisfy one's desires. My wife loves shelling and found numerous sand dollars and starfish in the shallow beach water in front of the house. A stay here must be accompanied by a visit to the fabulous new resort nearby called "The Cove", as well as, a brief water taxi ride to Harbor Island famous for it's pink sand beach and great shopping. It doesn't get much better after a fun filled day than sitting out on the large patio with your favorite refreshment looking out over the incredible blue waters of the Caribbean watching the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see. We highly recommend this relaxing getaway for it's comfort, beauty and solitude."
