"My family and i have stayed at Greenacres five times now, it is wonderful. The bungalow is very spacious, clean with everything you require for a comfortable and pleasent stay. There are plenty of beautiful beaches within easy driving distance and gorgeous views from the bungalow across fields to the sea. We could not ask for anything more and will be returning again very soon."Guest: Jane T. Date of Stay: February 2006 Review Submitted: February 20, 2006View listing
"outstanding property, tastefully furnished and extremely well-equipped villa in a beautiful, serene and relaxing setting. The villa itself is spacious and modern with 3 large bed-rooms, each with its own large bathroom and walk in closet and an elegant spacious living area with large windows affording amazing views of a lovely golf course. We don't golf but really enjoyed staying at the Royal Westmoreland. The pool/grounds/beach access were outstanding. We loved grilling and eating at home and enjoying the lovely view. The caretaker was great, folded our laundry and made us a truly delicious Bajan meal one night, the best meal we had the whole trip (we hired her extra for this, it was affordable well worth it). well-equipped with books, movies, beach toys, a cooler to take to the beach, ice packs, high-end cooking/kitchen supplies, new grill, robes in the bedrooms. Helpful, responsive, gracious owner. Overall, quite a treat and an excellent value."Guest: susan k. Date of Stay: April 2011 Review Submitted: May 2, 2011View listing
"Sandbox Studio is a great little rental. My husband I like like to rent homes when we go to the Caribbean and we don't generally go to the same island twice. This makes it hard because we are always on a learning curve. Pictures don't always tell the truth so we are usually pretty skeptical of what the rental situation will be when we get there. We found Sandbox Studio to be nicer than the pictures that they show on VBRO and there were no unpleasant surprises . I say nicer because I don't think that the online pictures do Stephen's yard justice. The studio is actually a separate house from the main home. We found it to have plenty of privacy and quiet. Quiet can be hard to come by in the Caribbean. The owners are helpful and attentive when you need them but gave us our privacy when we didn't. The rental had everything that we needed and everything was well maintained. I had packed a blow dryer, beach towels and an iron just in case but none of it was needed. The house is on a quiet residential beach front street but it is one block from the bus stop and the buses run regularly. You can easily get to Holetown and other tourist locations by bus if you don't want to rent a car. If you do rent a car, the house has enough parking. The beachfront was great for long walks. The locals seemed to enjoy it but it was never crowded. The neighborhood is prosperous. (The house next door rents for $1300 a night) so everyone chips in for a night watchmen to patrol the beach area. The first day in a rental when you arrive with too much cash and you don't know anything about the area can be unsettling but there was a small but pretty intense safe and deadbolt locks and I would feel safe there even if I was staying alone. The studio is all on one level with no stairs necessary when going from the car to the unit. I tell you this because I accidentally rented a place in St. John that had 700 stairs to the beach:)"Guest: Judy Date of Stay: February 2013 Review Submitted: March 11, 2013View listing
"From the moment we stepped on to the terrace at SeaShells we immediately felt welcomed and that our holiday had finally arrived. SeaShells has a natural calming atmosphere; the apartment is beautiful and everything we needed or required was there at our finger tips. Although my husband and I were exploring the island most days and having many a lazy day on the beaches for most of our holiday, it was so nice to go back to SeaShells knowing it was our home from home for the duration of our stay. We highly recommend SeaShells as a definite place to stay whilst visiting Barbados; we will definitely be booking it again. Thank you very much to the owners and the manager for making our Island holiday a most memorable one."Guest: SJ Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
