  • Pirate Villa Adventure

"Jason and Mareesha were excellent hosts And we particularly enjoyed dinners at the chefs table. We would stay at Pirates Villa again and highly recommend it. If you expect five-star resort treatment don't bother this place is great for the adventuresome!"

  • Had a great time, lots to do and lots of area to relax

"Just spent a week at Diamond Reef, and we had a great time. The highlight was definitely being able to paddle out to Mexico rocks and snorkel each morning before the tour operators showed up. We had the place to ourselves every time. Turns out while we were there the city or government made some changes to huge swath's of land and ocean around ambergris caye that may require daily fees, and Mexico rocks was one of those areas. Regardless, we really had a great time at this spot and Alvin, Rosa and their daughter Alyssa went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attend to our needs. We had a very early morning departure, 5:30 AM and when I woke up Alvin was already at the bottom of the stairs with a wheel barrow to take our luggage out to the ferry. The guy is one of the most patient relaxed folk I've met in a long time. Alvin also caught on very quick that we enjoyed fishing from the pier every night and he promptly went out and netted us some sardines to fish with that week. Way to go Alvin! Fresh snapper anyone?! We plan on returning asap."

  • Ya Betta Belize It!

"We just returned from our amazing vacation in C-4, Grand Caribe, Ambergris Caye!!! We had such a wonderful time and a very big part of that wonderful time was your condo and your extensive (13) pages of Things to Do...which, by the way, I found under the bed in the master suite! HA! We had so much fun tooling around the island in the golf cart, exploring. We never ate at the same restaurant twice, except the first day we had breakfast and dinner at Rain. Everyone of the suggestions was equally wonderful. People are very friendly and helpful. The staff and the concierge team were all amazing. It was so nice to just leave laundry in the basket and, PRESTO, upon our return we had clean clothes! We saw the Maya Ruins and the guide was very good. We got special treatment for lunch and a tour of Belize City. We also went sailing on a catamaran and did some snorkeling. We relaxed by the pool and explored on our own. The four of us had a wonderful time. I have already been asked about where we stayed and what we did. We are getting your info out there to our friends! Thank you and blessings to you for opening your home so we can enjoy!"

  • View the Blue - Great quick get away

"We rented the house from 08/17-22 for a quick getaway. Just like previous reviewers, we really enjoyed it being our first time to Belize. We were a little worried about the weather but it turned out great. Here's the pros and cons about the house: Pros: roomy, good enough for 12 people. great ocean front view, private, reasonable price. You gotta go with the Suya tour. Carlos and his crew provides a very personal service and willing to work with you to make you happy. Victor, Ana's property assistant is very professional and courteous. George, the taxi driver is very helpful too. Cons: downstair cooktop and refrigerator is not working (Victor, Ana's assistant said he'll fix it the next day but never did) but not a big deal since we can use the upstairs one. The outdoor floodlight did not work but we manage to fix it ourselves. Pool light didn't work. We told the care taker the next day but he doesn't seem to speak english. The pool has several nice coconut trees to provide shade and add a nice touch to the pool. However, it also blocks the oceanfront view. Therefore you can't enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the second floor balcony. There are a lot of mosquitoes even though we brought repellent. It would be nice if caretaker can spray them (we saw the foggy smoke repellent tool in the utility room). It would be nice if we can use the two old bikes in the utility room. There's no hammocks as stated in the description. It would be wonderful if the local phone call is included. Here's what we would recommend for first time renters: - First day, get a golf cart to explore the town. - 2nd day: go on fishing/snorkeling with Suya tour (we caught quite a bit of fishes and lobsters for dinner) - The cave tubing/zip line is so so. The cave tubing is a little disappointed since we didn't get to do anything. The tour guy just pulled us through the whole time. The kids enjoy the zipline more. - Fishing trip if you love fishing. Carlos will take you to his secret fishing places :) Despite a few little things about the place, we did have a wonderful time. We definitely come back here again and recommend it to everyone."
