  • Simply Awesome!

"This was a girls trip and all seven of us loved it! The house was absolutely lovely and even better than we expected from the photos. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool as well as in the Jacuzzi on the roof. The stars at night from the rooftop were indescribable! We never see most of those stars at home – there were millions! We snorkeled at Hol Chan, loved dinner at Mamba and Capricorn, and loved our morning walks on the beach. We can’t wait until we can schedule another trip to visit Stella Di mare again. It was one of the best trips we’ve had together in our 20 years of travel!"

  • Amazing Family Vacation Home

"Thank you so much Brad and Paula. I can say enough about your lovely vacation home. I believe your home is set up amazingly for families. Upon arriving the house was freshly cleaned not a crumb onsite. Martha and Robert (onsite staff) openly greeted us and were so accommodating through out the stay. I highly suggest Martha's cooking! Yum! On the days we stayed at the house there was still a lot to do. I thought the hockey sticks and nets were such a nice touch for us Canadians. There wasn't a time that we didn't have something to do. We caught crabs every night on the beach and had many laughs with the kids over the crab races. Martha gave massages at the end of the dock. Robert cleaned the yard daily and always had a smile on his face. He suggested a few places for us to go tour. I believe your house and staff made it a worry free vacation. Everything was always accessible for us. eg. golf cart, tours, wifi. I highly suggest Casa Amarillo to large families or groups. The location and house couldn't have been set up any better. Thank you so Much! The Johnston family."

  • Amaaaaaazing!

"Simply put, but grossly understated, this place is amazing! I came here with my fiance and two other couples. Start to finish, this experience was exactly as we had dreamed it. The rooftop pool/patio is a great spot to hang out, with 360 degree views that are breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was super convenient. Everything was beautiful. Our experience was heightened by the caretaker, William. He was so helpful in telling us about local spots to eat, shop, and snorkel. He was very professional, an obviously hard worker, and he takes a lot of pride in his management of the property. His two dogs, Tonester and Lady, gave us all our 'dog fixes' while we missed our own pups at home. He put on a 'coconut demonstration' where we learned a lot-he is a wealth of information. He also made us delicious seafood chowder and conch ceviche. The villa itself is about 5 miles north of town, so I would definitely suggest renting golf carts to drive around. The tour agency, SEAduced, came recommended by the owners as well, and we LOVED every tour we booked through them. This home is in close proximity to two beach bars/restaurants, which was really nice as well. Rojo's bar is close by and had amazing pizza and other food! This place is a gem, as is the whole town of San Pedro. I would recommend this to anyone I know! ***Side note: On our day of departure we had taken a water taxi into town and had forty minutes left until our small plane left for the mainland to catch our flight home. I realized, with horror, that not only had a left my PASSPORT at the villa, but also my engagement ring, driver's license, and car keys! We got William on the phone, and he grabbed my stuff and booked it into town to meet me at the airport on his dirt bike. I can't thank him enough for that! However, I'm pretty sure it was the universe's way of telling me I was supposed to stay in Belize :)"
