  • Very relaxing 40th wedding anniversary !!!!!!

"The entire Caye Villas compound is very well laid out and landscaped beautifully. Our villa was very clean, spacious and super functional with all the amenities you could ask for. Our caretaker David was professional, friendly, helpful and took very good care of us from arrival to departure. We purchased supplies from San Pedro stores and the Mata Grocery directly behind our villa, which was super convenient! Our nights out at the local restaurants were fabulous as well. The ONLY negative was the beach! An untimely sea grass invasion lined the entire eastern shore and smelled as it decomposed."

  • Had a great time, lots to do and lots of area to relax

"Just spent a week at Diamond Reef, and we had a great time. The highlight was definitely being able to paddle out to Mexico rocks and snorkel each morning before the tour operators showed up. We had the place to ourselves every time. Turns out while we were there the city or government made some changes to huge swath's of land and ocean around ambergris caye that may require daily fees, and Mexico rocks was one of those areas. Regardless, we really had a great time at this spot and Alvin, Rosa and their daughter Alyssa went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attend to our needs. We had a very early morning departure, 5:30 AM and when I woke up Alvin was already at the bottom of the stairs with a wheel barrow to take our luggage out to the ferry. The guy is one of the most patient relaxed folk I've met in a long time. Alvin also caught on very quick that we enjoyed fishing from the pier every night and he promptly went out and netted us some sardines to fish with that week. Way to go Alvin! Fresh snapper anyone?! We plan on returning asap."

  • Palm House March 2015

"10 of us including Myself, my wife, two kids (4,1), My sister, brother in law and their kids (5,2) and our parents stayed in this lovely home from the 23rd of March until April 1st, 2015. The house met our needs perfectly. Our parents particularly enjoyed having a separate suite with a separate entrance so they could get away from the commotion of four kids at times. The bedrooms upstairs were well separated giving each family a sense of privacy. Mariceli, our cook for the trip was great as was her assistant and daughter who helped each day for lunch and dinner. The food was fresh and well prepared and presented for each meal. The pool was a great addition, especially with young kids as the ocean is not ideal for swimming from the beach due to the sea grass, which there is a lot of. The kayaks and paddle boards worked well, as did everything else in the home. The island is easily accessible with a golf cart and made our morning trip each day for cinnamon buns at the bakery very simple. We snorkeled one day which was a highlight, we organized through pelican reef and were picked up on our dock. We also bone-fished two days which was also wonderful. The palm house was a perfect way to enjoy Belize, I definitely recommend."

  • Casita Buena Vista

"Wofgang along with Eldon, Merta, Cookie and Tiger have perfected the art of the vacation rental. It was by far the most organized, professional, yet personal experience we have had over many countries. They all exist to make sure you have the best time in San Pedro and nothing is too much to ask of them. Juice in the fridge and laundry service are great touches. The island info provided by Wolfgang before arrival is better than any travel book. Casita is huge, property is beautiful, however was surprised that our casita did not have any ocean view (is behind other building) and you cannot get out to the reef from beach. There is no kayak anymore and no bathroom door in the casita FYI. All in all one of the best spots on Ambergris to stay and will return for sure."
