"My husband and I stayed here as a birthday get away. The condo was just as described and pictured. You are literally steps away from the ocean and the view is fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. For those interested in doing yoga, there is a great location down the beach at Ak'Bol's that offers daily yoga and great smoothies. There are several great restaurants within walking location including Aji's and the new Rain restaurant. The only downside to the great location is that the beach is a main thoroughfare with people riding bikes. Also, there is no full divider on the patio between the two condo units so privacy is diminished if someone in the next unit is also enjoying their patio. Also, the hot tubs in the resort are not well maintained. However, it is a great destination for relaxing and the snorkeling can't be beat. Make sure to bring bug spray as the mosquitos can be bad especially on the patio at night. Also, bring a flashlight if you want to walk to restaurants in the evening as it is very dark along the beach."Guest: Jackie M. "The Belize Island Beach House is a tranquil place to get away from it all! We spent most of our time lounging on the dock or out on the front porch just taking in the scenery and enjoying the awesome sea breeze. The home is very comfortable and is equipped with everything needed to disconnect from the world for awhile, but also to stay connected if needed (i.e. WIFI). We really loved the positive atmosphere and family-oriented games and reading materials available. Additionally, the on-site property manager was very accessible and willing to help in any way necessary."Guest: Scott and Melissa Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 4, 2014View listing
"The Palm House is an amazing house located in the most gorgeous beach with a reef just off shore. The house is beautifully appointed, decorated and layed out in the most convenient way. Each bedroom is very large and has a beautiful and large private bath. The living area easily and comfortably held the 6 of us and more, if needed. Being an open concept living area we could relax, use the kitchen and dining area while enjoying each other. The gourmet kitchen had everything we needed to cook and we used the outside grill located under gorgeous palm trees overlooking the beach and aquamarine water. The large dining table, overlooking the pool and beach, was the perfect place to enjoy a few fabulously fresh ethnic meals that a wonderful local chef and her daughter prepared for us. Palm trees, white sand beaches, lush grass and landscaping add another element which makes Palm House a top property. We spent many hours relaxing, reading, laughing, enjoying Pina Coladas by the pool using the most comfortable pool furniture. The house is also equipped with bikes and kayaks which add to the fun. To make the week more perfect are the property managers and house keeping staff which are more than eager to make the vacation unforgettable. The house is perfectly managed, decorated, and maintained inside and out. The town is a fun and relaxed where we found the people to be very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed several restaurants with great food. Using our golf cart, we explored the island and town. We snorkeled a few days seeing a rich variety of marine life, bone fished, and had catamaran adventure including the most fabulous beach picnic with totally fresh seafood. Our family had the most fun week in a gorgeous property in a location which is like paradise. Thanks so much to the owners for providing a perfect home."Guest: PJTraveler Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 25, 2014View listing
"This was our second trip back to this excellent resort. We wanted some place laid back and warm for the holidays and once again Wolfgang and his staff, Elden and Merta, provided the perfect get away. We sat on the beach, swam, had a massage on the beach, ate great seafood and lazed away the holiday season. We have visited in both off and high sesaon and this condo is just far way from town to offer a complete retreat while still allowing you to take advantage of all San Pedro has to offer. We highly recommend and will come back again."Guest: Denise and Jan Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 6, 2015View listing
