"Took my 2, 20 something sons, their girl friends and my girl friend to this great spot and had a wonderful time over the 8 days we were there. The apartment was lovely, the view incredible, and there were numerous tours and options to fill the time when we weren't just relaxing. We also thought the restaurant/food options in town were better than expected. Would recommend Sunset Beach and Ambergris Caye as a great getaway for anyone and there were no negatives."Guest: Tom Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 21, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed here for an early honeymoon. The condo and its view were spectacular. Everything was immaculate and the customer service is top notch. EVERYONE at the Resort was so friendly and attentive. We did not take adventures (although they were available to us) but rather relaxed at the pool."Guest: Ann Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 18, 2014View listing
"We are first time Belizers who have now been converted to Believers. Before deciding to come to Belize with my wife and 13 year old daughter and 8 year old son, we thought about going to Costa Rica but decided against it because the range of options was a little too diverse for us to quickly decide about. We also considered Mexico because it's close but spent the last couple trips in Mexico and wanted something a bit different. Coming from Los,Angeles the flight is only 4:40 minutes and was very manageable, which is always a concern when traveling with kids. We arrived in Belize City and took a taxi to the water taxi, which was about an hour boat ride to Ambergriss Caye. We were met by the management company at the pier who then taxied us to the condo/complex and gave us a small tour. What attracted us to this spot, among other things, was that the place has three bedrooms. Since my son and daughter usually fight when they share a room, it was nice to have a place where they could each have their own room. The air conditioner in the apt. Is preset to 78 degrees which provides for a refreshing breeze when coming inside from the outside heat. The room has a nice view over the pool and of the Carribbean. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the kids swim and/or enjoying some coffee or a soda. The unit has a comfortable couch, which is the focal point of the unit and a nice tv with cable. In front of the unit, you will find some locals that sell fruits, cakes and things to eat from time to time. Otherwise, there Is a Convenience store right next door. The building is centrally located just blocks from the south north divide and bridge and movie theatre, which unfortunately only opens in weekends, on the south side. Father north, but within walking distance are all kinds of fun local shops. Also, lots of shops are on the beach and if you are a diver like me, there is a great dive shop just a couple of blocks away. The lodging on the island is a hodgepodge of upscale luxury resorts, diving resorts, private homes and for lack of a better word, shacks. August is supposedly the hurricane season, but we didn't see any hurricanes. August supposedly experiences more rain but even though the weather forecast predicted rain every day during our stay we didn't see any rain. There is really much more I can say but there is no room. All in all, had a great time and I am lamenting my return on this last day. Great, great time diving too."Guest: Bret L. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 8, 2014View listing
"This was the most amazing vacation ever. The owner of this property spared No expense and has incredible taste. Super spacious for large groups, pool was amazing and house being on the sand was pretty cool. We're not divers but we had so many excursions and things to do we would absolutely recommend this home and vacation to anyone who wants paradise. Swimming with sharks, sting rays on the amazing coral reefs five minutes from the property was the highlight for me. I personally highly recommend this property to anyone who wants an amazing trip they will not forget. The staff was amazing and readilly available if needed. Over all the locals are super friendly and now I know why the owner loves this property and country so much. 5+ stars for me and family."Guest: Tony58 Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 3, 2014View listing
