"I don't have enough great words to say about our Honeymoon Trip to Casa B'Alam! The house was exactly what we were looking for, private, accommodating for lounging and cooking in, but very easy access by both water and road. We used the bikes provided every morning to explore and ended up renting a golf cart through Mata Granda Grocery on our 3rd day so that it was a easy/fast trek to town when need be. The 2 person kayak provided was also a nice afternoon ride out to the reef for snorkeling and swimming around the sand bars. We enjoyed food at both Rojo Bar and Portofino, as well as the groceries for home cooking from Mata Grande. Aurora's Grill at Mata Grande is also an excellent stop for cold beers and good homemade food. Everyone on the island is super friendly. Our house staff - Romel, was very friendly and became a fast friend whom we hope to see again. Brittany was great answering all of my questions prior to arrival and also sending out a new blender! We will definitely be coming back to Casa B'Alam!"

"We have enjoyed our stay in the master suite of Beachfront Suites so much these past 2-1/2 weeks (Feb.-Mar. 2015). We enjoyed trips to Placencia Village, to shop at market stalls, and just for looking around; a trip for snorkeling to Laughing Bird Caye; several meals at Maya Beach Bistro (very good); a visit to the Spice Farm down near Indian Creek (very interesting, especially for my husband who cooks with all those spices), and, today, a trip back to Maya Center for a cacao farm tour and chocolate-making adventure (wonderful!). But it has always been good to come back "home" at the end of our days, to relax in the comfort of this lovely abode. We have even made friends with a couple of the neighborhood dogs (one dark, probably older, with white eyebrows and maybe some arthritis; the other blond with a black muzzle and also some arthritis -- both are sweethearts), and have given them a little of the doggie kibble underneath the island sink in the kitchen, as well as a little fresh water. While they seemed grateful for the food and water, they seemed to want human love and contact even more -- we did not hold back!
The people of Belize that we have encountered have been friendly, helpful, and genuine, traits that are elusive at best in our own fast-pace culture. Luselie has checked in with us several times, making sure we have everything we need -- she's a gem.
Thank you for providing such a comfortable and lovely home-away-from-home for us!"

"My husband and I stayed at the Purple House in November for our 20th anniversary. The house was exactly as pictured. Michael and Eddie were a pleasure to work with and our stay was very relaxing and SLOW! I would highly recommend this property to those who want relax and take in the natural beauty of Caye Caulker. It matched every description. We enjoyed making fresh rum drinks with the hand crank blender (more than once). If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this place is for you. The sunsets from the crows nest will take your breath away. We can't wait to visit again"

"We were a group of five couples on our first trip to Belize, and we chose The Blue Dolphin because it fit our budget and needs. Everything was great. We really enjoyed all the amenities of the house. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of room for 10 adults to roam throughout the house. We loved the outside covered decks and all the different deck tables and chairs for us to relax at different times of the day. The pool was nice to cool off. Having our own dock was nice to fish off of, and/or to do our yoga exercises in the morning. Plus, getting picked up right from our dock for scuba excursions was great! Armando and Gloria were really nice and did anything we asked to make our stay the most comfortable. Gloria's cooking was really good too. We arranged to have two golf carts for our trip which were waiting for us when we arrived. Our hosts, Mark and Joan were super nice and catered to anything we needed, but the house came super stocked with everything, so we didn't really need anything else during our stay.
All in all, we had a wonderful trip and we hope someday make it back to the Blue Dolphin and Belize. Overall, it was Unbelizable! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax or cram in everything you wanted to do on vacation. Thank you Mark, Joan, Gloria & Armando for making our vacation great!!"
