"I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that we had such a wonderful time at your Ambergris Caye vacation home, Casa Amarillo. What a beautiful place! We just got home late last night, and we all wish we could have spent more time there. I would definitely recommend your lovely home to anyone thinking of visiting the island. There were 6 in our family and we rented both floors. Worked out perfectly. We had our 4 boys (late teens, early 20's) on the first floor, and my husband & I had the second floor to ourselves. The people on the island are extremely friendly, and the views are simply breathtaking. Robert & Marfa were wonderful and very warm and friendly. They were there to help us out anytime we needed anything, which was such a relief for us. Just knowing they were there helped us all to relax and enjoy everything. Marfa's salsa was delicious & we requested it several times. Robert's sister even came to the house to do corn row braids on my son's hair. And when our golf carts had some issues with a broken part, Robert was right there to get them replaced immediately. Robert keeps the property looking beautiful, especially the pool. The pool was sparkling and clean every single day. You certainly have a winning team to take care of the home and grounds! They helped everything to run smoothly so that we could kick back & relax.
Thank you again for opening your home to visitors. Our boys had a great time, and there was good family bonding time. We did a snorkeling trip & fishing/lunch trip with your neighbor's guide service. Eddie & Edgar were great, and very friendly. My boys got to spear lobster, which they then cooked up in an unbelievably delicious lunch for us on a private beach. We saw a nurse shark, sting ray and crocodile right off the house's dock! (That was awesome!) We visited the Mayan ruins at the south end, and explored all the way up to the north end of the island. Wanted to do more, but we just ran out of time. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there!

"We arrived at the villa to find that the on-line pictures did not do the house justice. It was beautiful and so well kept. Stan met us to welcome us, show us around and to give some great advice on the surrounding area. We had a few days to prepare for a beach wedding and were most impressed when Albert and Francesca (house keepers) were so helpful and were more than willing to pitch in and help with some of the preparations. The wedding went without and hitch (having our own private beach was really a dream come true for our daughter). Then some time for fun in the sun. The beach was incredible; Albert raked it every day and Francesca just quietly went about her housekeeping duties. We loved waking up every morning and walking out into that warm sea breeze. Stan would stop by and offer suggestions for eating or other sites, which almost always met our expectations. The house had some great extras: beach chairs, kayaks, snorkeling gear, etc. which we were welcome to use. It was so nice to be able to watch the kids play from the house, the shaded veranda or on the beach with them. Albert, and his 2 super friendly dogs, was always around so safety was never a concern. I would not hesitate to stay at the Villa Ranguana again."

"My wife and I have been lucky enough to stay here several times. Each time the experience gets better and better. The condo itself is nicely decorated with a gorgeous patio that has a central view of the pool and the ocean. We love to wake up early and watch the sunrise with coffee. We have also spent many nights on the patio playing cards and enjoying the time with friends and family.
As far as the complex itself, you couldn't ask for much more. The pools are great, the beach can be seen from the balcony, and the pool bar has refreshing drinks (I'd recommend the Dirty Bananas) and excellent service. I enjoy reading by the pool or on the beach. When it's time for some adventure, we love to go scuba diving. We both got our PADI certifications here a couple of years ago and have since enjoyed some of the best reef diving you can find. For any divers, the Blue Hole is definitely worth checking out. And, although the diving is amazing, we have snorkeled off the dock, fished both inside and outside the reef, rented a small boat to take us sight seeing and snorkeling, and traveled to the main land to experience the zip lines and cave tubing. Every experience has been perfect!
The restaurants and food options in the area are great. Grand Caribe has recently added a new roof top restaurant that is very nice and offers good food and some beautiful views. Farther down the beach is Ahi, one of our favorites. It is very romantic with the lights strung through the trees and the stars in the night sky. The food there is delicious. There are other options and all have been good. Many of the places will send a boat to pick you up if you need a lift. Also, the condo has a good kitchen and there are grocery stores that aren't too far if you'd rather stay in and cook.
If you're considering a trip to Belize, this place is one of the best! We always want to stay longer and can't wait to come back."

"My husband, our 16 year old, her friend and I spent 2 weeks exploring Belize and staying at Sunset Point. Sadly the seaweed was abundant this year and we were unable to hang out at any beaches while there. However we were not at a lack for things to do. The girls spent their quiet time at the tiki hut on the water at the condo for their quiet time as opposed to the beach and my husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views from the condo and the crows nest. Our first week was spent on jungle adventures: monkey river cruise, swimming at the blue hole, Cockscomb, Bocawina and Xunantunich. The second week was spent on the water snorkeling, exploring the cayes and sailing. Placencia is a fun time and the food was good and incredibly reasonable. Although we planned to eat in the condo frequently, we wound up eating out more often. Wonderful time. The condo was clean, pretty and very comfortable for the 4 of us although it could use a bit of updating."
