"My husband and I recently spent 11 days at Sunset Pointe. We found the accommodations as lovely as described. We took time to relax and enjoy the views from every dock and porch. We usually ate in for breakfast and lunch then tried all the different restaurants for suppers. We rented a golf cart which allowed us to travel to the resorts beyond the airport when we wanted to splurge on a dinner out. Our favourite restaurant was MOJOS on the balcony. The reviews of Tutti Fruiti had us going there every nite for our after supper gelato. My favourite was half peanut butter half dark chocolate but there were close seconds. We really appreciated Averisto's tour of Monkey River. Thank you Janis for all your attention to detail. Visiting Placencia in the shoulder season meant that plans to attend an advertised BBQ, band or restaurant opening might be delayed until after Nov 15 when more tourists are expected. But we made friends with other travellers at the Sunset Pointe condos and created our own fun. In all it was an enjoyable time. I would go there again when it isn't quite so hot."

"We spent 11 wonderful days and nights. At arrival we were welcomed with fresh juice from the fruit stand, some freshly baked bread from the baker and coconut brownies. Everything was as promised and even much better. The Casita is a quality place, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Maid service was excellent and even included our personal laundry; hotels would charge you "an arm and a leg". Eldon the groundskeeper was very friendly and helpful with the adventure tours to choose. Cookie the dog was keeping us company on the estate's own beach and even went swimming with us. The restaurants on the island are quality, especially Black Orchid which is just a driving minute away. The tips we got from Wolfgang for local cuisine were head on: The lobster burrito at Pupuseria, what a deal !!
Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

"First off, this property is in an excellent location close to the water taxi, restaurants, bars, snorkeling/swimming, and shopping.
However, I am reviewing the property owner, rather than this particular property, as we did not actually stay at Diane's Beach House. Unfortunately, there was a very large construction project going on at the adjacent property (multiple floors of concrete being poured, etc.) and the place was just not at it's best. Diane let us know a bit ahead of time that the construction was still going on, so she would be able to provide alternate accommodation at another of her properties. However, it was further inland in a more residential area. It was a nice property, but we were really intent on an oceanfront property. She very graciously asked her property manager to work with us to find a property that was more suitable for us and promptly refunded our payment in full. We found a very nice place to stay and were very appreciative that we were able to work with Diane with no drama! We would definitely consider staying at one of her properties on our next visit to Caye Caulker."

"Enjoyed a wonderful time at the Coral Caye Villa! The property was beautiful and very well kept thanks to the wonderful caretaker, David. We were looking for a relaxing vacation and that is what we got. Only a few walking minutes to some great restaurants, it was nice to relax by the pool or in the hammock and then take a stroll for some great food and drinks! I would suggest renting a golf cart to make getting to town easier. If you are planning on cooking at the villa then shopping in town is probably a good idea too although there is a little grocery and grill directly across the street. White Sands Dive Shop was great for snorkeling and diving! Meals at Rojo Bar, Matachica, Terrazas & La Palapa Bar were all wonderful. I would recommend this property to a friend and hope to return soon!"
