"My family and I stayed in the Sunset Suite at Coconut Row and had THE most amazing time. The location right on the beach just can't be beat and you're within easy walking distance of everything in Hopkins, so you don't need a vehicle. Damian, Coconut Row's owner and his great staff, arranged for any travel we needed, whether that was a ride from the airport or to and from any of the many activities that they will set up for you. We ate so much amazing, fresh food while we were there, we were not looking forward to returning home. My teenage son even said that the thought of fast food was completely unappealing after our week of eating our way up and down the village. There was no TV and no cell service on our phones, so we had fantastic family time, playing the games and reading the books that were provided in the suite, swimming, relaxing on the beach, and exploring the village and meeting really nice people every day. If we get a chance, we will definitely be back as "repeat coconuts"!"

"We spent several days at Sherene's condo at Susnet Pointe in Placencia. The condo was amazing as well as the caretakers Francisco and Rosa. Sharene could not have been any nicer, she and I exchanged many emails before my arrival and also while we were there. She wanted to make sure that our stay was as pleasant and filled with adventures as possible. We ate at the Barefoot Bar and Grill many times during our stay and enjoyed the food and atmosphere there. The people of Belize were friendly and welcoming. I would suggest staying at Sunset Pointe for anyone who plans a trip to Belize. The location is central to all attractions and very private if you just want to relax."

"We found this property perfectly located 20 minutes away from downtown San Pedro. Just a short water taxi ride away. The treehouse was furnished perfectly with an amazing balcony. We loved the house, we loved the care taker and his son, we loved the weather and the breeze, we loved the diving and snorkeling. I just cant find enough words to tell you how much we loved this vacation. One of my favorite things about the house was the water system, only provided by rainwater storage. I have never felt cleaner after a shower, and my hair has never felt healthier than it did with that water. We fished every other day and had wonderful dinners at the house. We also went out to dinner a few times, however the meals were quite expensive that way.
If I were to say anything negative about this location, it would only be that everything is quite a walk away, with very few options for meals. I loved the remoteness, however I would rent a golf cart next time for easier transportation.
We will be back!"

"Pros: the condo is extremely comfortable and right on the beach. Sitting on the front porch overlooking the water sipping coffee or cocktails was a great treat. The internet was amazingly fast (i was able to stream videos at night). Overall the condo is modern, comfortably decorated, AC worked excellently, and daily maid service was a great bonus. I stayed at the resort by myself and felt extremely safe (one note: the front door does not have a peep hole). As for the resort itself I only have wonderful things to say. The staff were very helpful, professional, and friendly. I booked all my outings for snorkel through the concierge and it was an absolute breeze. I was also able to order fresh water through the front desk which was a nice bonus to not have to worry about getting it from town. The pools are all very nice with plenty of space to stretch out and order a mai tai. Prices are typical resort prices for drinks and food at the resort but there are some other restaurants up and down the beach from there with various price points. Overall I had a wonderful time at Grand Caribe and would stay in Mike's condo again in a heart beat.
Cons: when I was there in August 2015 there was a lot of construction going on next door. As an early riser by nature it didn't bother me but if you're looking to sleep in I would check to see if it is still on going. That sea grass thing is no joke in terms of odor. I realize that's not the resorts fault and maybe shouldn't be a 'con' but the smell is strong and because the condo is on the beach can slightly infiltrate into the apartment. In conjunction to that because the resort is tackling this issue with ongoing gusto there are guys out every morning raking the weed up and putting it into wheel barrows and since I was alone I was uncomfortable sitting on the porch while they were out there which usually ran from 7 am to noon. Also, there is a breezeway next to the condo that is a common walkway so you will see a lot of people walk through and the day workers who clean up the seaweed camp out there while they take breaks and drink water."
