"My husband and I stayed at the Purple House in November for our 20th anniversary. The house was exactly as pictured. Michael and Eddie were a pleasure to work with and our stay was very relaxing and SLOW! I would highly recommend this property to those who want relax and take in the natural beauty of Caye Caulker. It matched every description. We enjoyed making fresh rum drinks with the hand crank blender (more than once). If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this place is for you. The sunsets from the crows nest will take your breath away. We can't wait to visit again"

"My wife and I stayed here for 11 days and we had a completely amazing time, one of our best travel experiences ever actually! Caye Caulker Rentals managed the rental process and they were very friendly, easy to deal with and very accommodating, arranging for any local taxi services that we required. The cottage is very nice with beautiful hardwood finishes and it comes complete with everything that you need for your stay. The provided bicycles were used every day to get into town as the cottage is located on the quieter south side of the island (a 5 min bike ride or 10-15 min walk in to town). While it's next to the local airport, we really didn't notice much noise at all. The location on the beach is beautiful with amazing sunrises and ocean breezes and we had virtually private use of the dock and sandy area for swimming. Every day brought different marine life around the dock, starfish, needle fish, trumpet fish, tarpons, stingrays, etc. Even more important (to us anyway), were the people around us and on the island. The owners Dave and Noelle are very friendly and gracious hosts that live next door. They included us in all of their local activities including Yoga, helping at the local Humane Society and they joined us at many of the local restaurants and bars including the amazing local expat bar "The Barrier Reef Sports Bar" (another highlight for us). They introduced us to many local islanders and expats and we can't express enough how great of a time we had. We also highly enjoyed having their dogs around. They would often come by in the morning to visit and to just generally hang out with us on the beautiful deck. Missing our own dogs, we appreciated the K9 company. We've been to Belize 3 times now, this was our first visit to Caye Caulker and easily our most favorite. You know you've had a great trip when feel like you're leaving friends and family behind :( Thanks Dave and Noelle for such a great time! We can't wait to come back again, VERY SOON hopefully ;) Bring lots of bug spray though, the sand fleas can be bad.

"I stayed at Weezie's yellow cabin as a group of 3 young women. We had a fantastic time, and the accommodations were perfect. We each had our own bedroom area (2 bedrooms and the loft, which has a steep ascent and takes a little more effort to air condition but is very do-able) in addition to the nice common space. Weezie's had everything we needed. We loved having the pool to swim in after a day of snorkeling or hanging out at the dock. Speaking of which, Caye Caulker does not really have much in terms of traditional beaches, but Weezie's hotel has a nice, large dock that's perfect for relaxing and then taking a swim in the ocean. The service was also excellent from the on-site manager, who accommodated our every need. The cabin was in perfect working order. We rented bikes from the hotel, which was a great choice. We enjoyed the location as being a bit away from the more heavily trafficked part of the Caye and wonderfully relaxing. Overall, we had a great stay, and I'd recommend Weezie's to my friends. Hopefully we can return!"
