"Our second stay at Maya Sunset. First trip was very nice and we did all the tourists trips, Monkey River, Mayan Ruins, plus we kayaked everyday. This time we are here just to relax and enjoy our privacy. The neighborhood is spread out, gives you lush privacy. It' is safe and close enough to walk to the store and restaurants. Having our private pool and palapa on the water is what makes this the perfect "Get away from it all" vacation rental."

"This was the perfect venue for rest and relaxation from a high pressure career. The Treetop Villa was perfect for our visit. Cocoplum had 24/7 security and was very quiet. Exactly what we needed. We chilled at the beach across the street every day and used Cocoplum as our base for exploring this beautiful country. We toured the Reef and Silk Cay with Nite Wind Tours recommended by our host, Aaron. Great time with Tiger and Tipa. Tiger named almost 50 different fish while snorkeling and Tipa cheffed up a great barbecue for lunch. The Toledo District was awesome. The Punta Gorda Chocolate Street Festival was lively fun and Lubaatun Mayan Ruins were just too cool. The Mayan people and villages are a fascinating culture. As are the Garifuna people. Placentia itself is the greatest place ever. When the World discovers this place, it will become the next Maui or Cancun (hope not!)
In short, we are re-charged and ready to go for another year in the States. But we will be back! Thanks Aaron and the Cocoplum Team. Bill, Sherri and the Boys."

"Our family ritual is to go someplace warm over winter break. Our dear departed grandmother started this practice many years ago and we have diligently carried it forward. We have been to Hawaii, (a couple of times) California, and gone on a couple of cruises. (not the children's favorite) We have never ventured outside of the U.S. on our own but decided to give Belize a try. We are very glad we did.
To start with the house was great. As shown and as described on the web site, although; we think the owners could have done a bit more bragging about the sleeping arrangements as the beds were very comfortable, something we don't usually find in rental houses. Yvonne was very helpful with pre-trip information. She even sent us very detailed driving directions from Belize City to the house including points of interest along the route. (rest areas, gas stops, places to grab a bite to eat, etc.) Lus (the house care taker) deserves a pat on the back as our plane was delayed a few hours coming in but she was at the house with a big smile to greet us on our arrival. She was also available during the week if needed but not a snooper, a troubling experience we have had in the past.
The weather could not have been better. It rained a few times during the night but the days were sunny and warm. (85º to 90º) Just what us northerners needed. We didn't even find it necessary to use the A/C as the breeze off the ocean was more than enough to cool things down at night.
We did a few touristy things but it was just as much fun to hang out at the house, swim in the pool or ocean and cook up some steaks on the outdoor grille.
We would highly recommend Seabreezevilla if you are in search of an excellent vacation."

"We had a fantastic time at Cocoplum! The villa is beautiful, as shown in the pictures, and Aaron was available to us morning, noon, and night to answer questions. We were given recommendations on restaurants and tours, and none of them were short of amazing. Our beach was quiet (though not the best for wading or swimming, with much sea kelp), and our pool was relaxing. We had 3 days of rain during our week in Placencia, but found plenty to do to keep ourselves busy. Meals at the house were no problem when we didn't want to venture out, since there is a grocery store just up the road in Maya Beach. We also had Radiance come in and cook for us on three nights...what a treat! The food was delicious and Radiance herself was charming to get to know."
