Recent Placencia Peninsula property reviews

  • A true slice of heavan

"Even all the glowing reviews don't do this condo justice! Really amazing find. The condo has everything and as others have said, immaculate! With docks just a few steps from the condo, you can watch sunrise on one, sunset on another, and south on another, then not to mention the copollas for a bird's eye view of it all!. Fun going to a place where the toughest decisions is which view you want when. We did two great tours with Alfred who could not be more passionate about sharing his love and knowledge of the area. Francisco and his family were very helpful and always available. Congratulations to their son on his recent graduation! We prefer eating in at night and enjoyed foraging around the sea and village for wonderful and different foods. The kitchen had every need and the open kitchen to living room area was prefect. The owners were so helpful with ideas of things to do and even a recommended packing list with a few things we had not thought of and were very helpful - Please go and enjoy yourselves - I know we did and we look forward to returning again soon."

  • A great place to stay in Placencia

"My wife and I have rented the Three Iguanas with a large family group and it was a wonderful place. Very finely furnished second floor with large bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. The third floor has wonderful views and a plunge pool to relax in when it gets hot. The views of the distant Maya mountains to the west are breathtaking. We travel to Placencia on a regular basis and we always try to stay in the third floor suite with the pool and views. Stefano who managed the property is a great host and has always taken care of us when we visit. We will be back!"

  • Beautiful, Dream vacation

"Our family of 4 traveled to Belize. Our children 14 and 19 thoroughly enjoyed there stay at the Seabreeze Villa. The pool is a must and the beach so close was very exciting. We woke with tropical birds singing. Limes to pick and banana trees in the back yard. You definitely need at least 8 days to enjoy Placencia and what the property had to offer. More if you want to see the sights. Singing Springs restaurant was excellent in Maya Beach. The food was to die for. Tutti Frutti Gelato in the village is excellent. I loved the fresh produce market in Placencia. They have the best fresh produce in abundance along with fresh eggs and meat to purchase from the freezer. Yvonne was very helpful in preparation for our trip, giving directions and things to see and do while there. Arlin, the boat guide, drove right up to the beach and took us to the barrier reef to fish and snorkel on our own private island!! What a wild ride and well worth the experience, even for someone who has not been in the ocean 20 miles out before. We went during the raining season, only rained one day for 30 minutes. Pretty amazing to see the storm roll in. Very warm weather. The pool will cool you off! We hated to leave and would love do it all over again."

  • ahhhhh Belize.....

"I've been to this resort three times in the last 10 years. The last time here at Christmas 2012 was the best. We went as a large group--'family vacation'. My family stayed in this unit and it really is one of the best on the property. Right ON the beach and with direct access out the front door of the condo! Also, its located on a quiet part of the resort--but still very close (1 min) to the main building where the bar/restauarnt is located. The condo is very comfortable and decorated authentically to the country/Region. Robert's Grove has upgraded several areas making it more attractive. The onsite restaurant offers great breakfasts, lunch and dinner and it's a fun and intimate spot to have a 6 pm cocktail at the bar before dinner! The second restaurant is Mexican and is also great! The resort can set up many tours including Monkey River, fishing and so on. We had a fantastic family vacation here--it's perfect for a large group or for some 'down time' as a couple. The bonus is that the town of Placencia is only 4 miles away and you can rent bikes (or get a taxi) to ride to town for shopping and other eating spots. We will be going back to Belize and to this spot!"
