  • Belize is UnBelizeable

"Our stay at Harbour Hideaway was the best. Jim and Cindy made us feel like family. Their studio was perfect for what we needed. They had everything: beach towels, kayaks and they even borrowed an extra bike from a friend so our whole family could have one. They were very thoughtful. It is in a great location and it is very clean. Our vacation will be remember for always."

  • As close to paradise as possible

"Our family ritual is to go someplace warm over winter break. Our dear departed grandmother started this practice many years ago and we have diligently carried it forward. We have been to Hawaii, (a couple of times) California, and gone on a couple of cruises. (not the children's favorite) We have never ventured outside of the U.S. on our own but decided to give Belize a try. We are very glad we did. To start with the house was great. As shown and as described on the web site, although; we think the owners could have done a bit more bragging about the sleeping arrangements as the beds were very comfortable, something we don't usually find in rental houses. Yvonne was very helpful with pre-trip information. She even sent us very detailed driving directions from Belize City to the house including points of interest along the route. (rest areas, gas stops, places to grab a bite to eat, etc.) Lus (the house care taker) deserves a pat on the back as our plane was delayed a few hours coming in but she was at the house with a big smile to greet us on our arrival. She was also available during the week if needed but not a snooper, a troubling experience we have had in the past. The weather could not have been better. It rained a few times during the night but the days were sunny and warm. (85º to 90º) Just what us northerners needed. We didn't even find it necessary to use the A/C as the breeze off the ocean was more than enough to cool things down at night. We did a few touristy things but it was just as much fun to hang out at the house, swim in the pool or ocean and cook up some steaks on the outdoor grille. We would highly recommend Seabreezevilla if you are in search of an excellent vacation."

  • Fantastic stay!

"We stayed at Dolce Cabana for a month (March/April). We really enjoyed our trip to Placencia and our stay at Dolce Cabana. It was a short walk to the village amenities and far enough for quiet relaxation. The cabana worked out well for our stay. Plenty of room and a lovely patio outside which we enjoyed. Nicole was a great host, knowledgeable about the area and very helpful with any questions we had. She even had a folder in the cabana with information on the area, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The room was clean and maid service was provided weekly during our stay. We highly recommend staying here."

  • Placencia paradise

"We have enjoyed our stay in the master suite of Beachfront Suites so much these past 2-1/2 weeks (Feb.-Mar. 2015). We enjoyed trips to Placencia Village, to shop at market stalls, and just for looking around; a trip for snorkeling to Laughing Bird Caye; several meals at Maya Beach Bistro (very good); a visit to the Spice Farm down near Indian Creek (very interesting, especially for my husband who cooks with all those spices), and, today, a trip back to Maya Center for a cacao farm tour and chocolate-making adventure (wonderful!). But it has always been good to come back "home" at the end of our days, to relax in the comfort of this lovely abode. We have even made friends with a couple of the neighborhood dogs (one dark, probably older, with white eyebrows and maybe some arthritis; the other blond with a black muzzle and also some arthritis -- both are sweethearts), and have given them a little of the doggie kibble underneath the island sink in the kitchen, as well as a little fresh water. While they seemed grateful for the food and water, they seemed to want human love and contact even more -- we did not hold back! The people of Belize that we have encountered have been friendly, helpful, and genuine, traits that are elusive at best in our own fast-pace culture. Luselie has checked in with us several times, making sure we have everything we need -- she's a gem. Thank you for providing such a comfortable and lovely home-away-from-home for us!"
