  • Great place!!!

"Our group just returned from a week at Cocoplum! What a great vacation! Aaron and Stewart are the best.... The house was perfect for 3 couples. The patio, pool and beach are all wonderful. We had Radiance cook for us 2 nights and she was amazing. We also went and heard Aaron play down at the Maya Beach Bistro!!!! He's fantastic. The house is very private and the beach is very quiet. You are a short distance to the Market, Mangos, Maya Beach Bistro... We drove into town a few times for Tuttie Fruitie, Barefoot Bar and to get on a boat. The only negative thing is that we did get some bug bites. Some of our group more then others. Be sure to bring bug spray and use it. This is a fantastic house in a fantastic location with a fantastic beach! How can you go wrong?"

  • Fabulous condo in Placencia

"My family stayed in this beautiful condo for a week. It was perfect. When we were not diving, snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls in Jaguar country, we would lounge by the pool, jumping in every 10 minutes to cool off or to just play around with the kids. We had been traveling for a week and a half prior and were pleased to find a beautiful kitchen, plenty of stores, fish market and produce stands in town a quick cab ride away. We rode the bikes or walked into town easily. The property was dreamy. I felt like we walked into paradise with fresh flowers everywhere. The other residents/guests were so friendly and helpful."

  • End of the Road

"Sunset Point is literally at the end of the road after going through Placencia Village. The condo's are nice and clean and the caretaker is easy to work with and very helpful. Down side is it's nearly a mile walk to the village on a dirt road if you don't have a vehicle. There is a nice saltwater pool but no swimming access to the ocean or lagoon. You will have to get to the village for ocean access but the beach is great and there are lot's of places to eat and keep yourself busy. We where there for 14 days but some of the condo's changed occupants several times so you never know who will be next door or in our case above you. For the most part people where friendly and considerate. Wi-fi is spotty with a couple of outages while we were there. You can always go into the village and take advantage of many restaurants free wi-fi. There is a new condo being built across the canal so there was lot's of construction noise from 7am to 5pm week days. We had a good time and will go back to Placencia someday but will probably stay on the beach next time."

  • One of the most peaceful locations in Placencia

"We have been to Placencia many, many times, and this was our first time staying at Sunset Pointe. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the area was, and the accommodations were perfect for my wife and I, my wife's parents, and our 2 young children. Great views from the crow's nest, great pool for the kids, easy (and frequent) use of the bikes and kayaks. We ate outside on the front porch for every meal. Just a short bike ride or walk into the village, but far enough away to not have any noise. I would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit."
