  • Beautiful house in lovely area of Belize

"We stayed at this fantastic house for a week in March 2015. It was a quick drive from the Placencia airport which is always a bonus. The rooms were all very large with ensuites and all beds were very comfortable. The living areas were huge with satellite tv and internet and could fit tons of people. The kitchen was fantastic and equipped with absolutely everything. The house has large areas of deck space and areas to relax if you need some quiet time. There is gated security and we always felt safe anywhere we went anyway. The pool area at the adjoining resort was beautiful and fairly quiet which was fantastic...never had to get there early to fight for a good spot. A tandem skydive school/jump site was right on the beach for anyone looking for extra thrills. Local restaurants are close and absolutely delicious and there is even a bowling alley just down the road. We were there with our two teenagers and absolutely enjoyed everything about our trip. I would highly recommend this great house to anyone."

  • This House has it all - Your best bet in Placencia

"This house lives up to the pictures! The place is incredible with views of the ocean from every room. The kitchen has everything you need including an ice machine. The front patio which is shaded is perfect for hanging out with your friends and family while gazing at the sea. The pool is big enough to stay cool and if you need a bigger pool, privelages at the Placencia Hotel down the road are included and that pool is amazing and huge with a swim up bar to boot! The bedrooms all have their own bathroom and the beds are very comfortable. Mirabel keeps the house clean and does your laundry every day which cuts down on what you have to bring with you. She is so sweet and will help with anything you need. Domingo the chef is amazing - he has a great disposition and he is an excellent chef. The experience of having breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked for you is luxurious. I have rented many vacation houses around the world and this is one of the best because so much is included. You get daily maid and laundry service, a personal chef every 3 days, a 6 passenger golf cart, kayaks, bicycles, ice machine, swimming pool, priveleges at the Placencia Hotel Pool and the beach at your back door. It was Amazing. For Restaurants I would recommend Singing Sands and the Maya Beach Hotel bistro - their food is at such a high level - I was pleasantly surprised. the snorkeling is amazing - we saw an eagle ray, nurse shark, sea turtle, carribean ray, squid and hundreds of fish!"

  • Beautiful Lagoon front home

"My family and I spent two wonderful weeks at this property. Great place to watch wildlife on land and in the lagoon. Grocery store just down the road made prepping meals a breeze."

  • Perfect Place for Our Family over Spring Break

"We had a great time in this little house over Spring Break this year! My husband and I slept upstairs, and our two sons (11 and 15) slept downstairs.. and we all slept incredibly well! The house was clean, comfortable, and informal in the sense that we did not have to worry about our active family breaking anything! We ate breakfasts that included fresh pineapple and papaya on the screened porch, looking out on the beach, and we spent our days noodling around in kayaks (available next door), swimming, snorkeling (on guided tours), zip-lining (1 hour drive from Maya Beach), and eating well in local restaurants and "at home"... The only frustration, as far as our sons were concerned, is that WiFi availability is a little spotty so their phone and ipod use was limited -- which, of course, my husband and I were happy about! I really recommend traveling this way with kids; after a day of adventures, we could rinse and dry-out our gear, eat snacks, read... all without being confined to a hotel room. For our vacation, we rented a vehicle and drove the 3 hours south from Belize City to Maya Beach, which was easy and fairly straight-forward (but with a lot of speed bumps!), and allowed us to explore, see other parts of the country, and venture into Placencia, when desired. We also rented a little flip-phone through the car rental agency at the Belize City airport, which made local communication with snorkeling tour operators and restaurant reservations very easy. We really didn't want to come home at the end of our vacation! Thank You, Ken and Candace!"
