  • Simply Wonderful!

"We stayed at the Dolce Cabana for a week in February during the art festival in Placencia. What a wonderful place it was for us! The room was very clean and had all of the ammenities we could ask for. Nichole was wonderful as well! She helped us organize some of our excursions, and went out of her way to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Our room opened right up to the waterway and was very quiet (Except for the Whippoorwill birds living in the area that were wonderful early morning alarm clocks). But who wants to sleep in anyway? The walk from our room to the center of town took no more than ten minuted, and the grocery store was within five. I highly recommend Dolce Cabana if you want a cozy, convenient room for a great price. We will certainy stay there the next time we visit."

  • Relaxing -- felt like home

"We would definitely recommend the Treeptop Villa. Each floor is air conditioned, the kitchen is modern and the master bedroom and bath is wonderful with a veranda off the bedroom. It was always quiet and Aaron was available to help us in any way to make our stay enjoyable. The beach is a very short walk across the lane and is a great place for walks. We enjoyed the restaurants in Placencia and enjoyed swimming at the beach at the harbor. We were not able to scuba dive because of colds but found enough other ways to enjoy this country. We visited a banana farm and the tour was very interesting. Be sure to have some fish meals while you are in Belize. We talked to several locals and learned about the country. The Treetop Villa is a very safe place to stay because of security at the gate."

  • Beautiful house in lovely area of Belize

"We stayed at this fantastic house for a week in March 2015. It was a quick drive from the Placencia airport which is always a bonus. The rooms were all very large with ensuites and all beds were very comfortable. The living areas were huge with satellite tv and internet and could fit tons of people. The kitchen was fantastic and equipped with absolutely everything. The house has large areas of deck space and areas to relax if you need some quiet time. There is gated security and we always felt safe anywhere we went anyway. The pool area at the adjoining resort was beautiful and fairly quiet which was fantastic...never had to get there early to fight for a good spot. A tandem skydive school/jump site was right on the beach for anyone looking for extra thrills. Local restaurants are close and absolutely delicious and there is even a bowling alley just down the road. We were there with our two teenagers and absolutely enjoyed everything about our trip. I would highly recommend this great house to anyone."

  • Magical Vacation Rental

"We stayed at the Main Stay for a week, during the holidays. My boyfriend and I really found it romantic, magical and so accommodating. The staff is remarkable; everyone really makes you feel safe and really allows you to have a very relaxing stay. We had the beach all to ourselves and when shared with the other visitors, everyone was so welcoming & amazing. It still felt exclusive & private. We felt like we were with family on a grandeurs vacation. We cooked every morning on the outdoor grill found on the wrap around porch while listening to the sounds of the birds & drinking fresh coconuts, right of the tree. This place truly is very magical. For the price, it’s incredible how special, private, peaceful, and grand it is. There is a very expensive spa up the road that charges a ridiculous amount of money, but they do not have a private magical beach as we did, with inclusive use of canoes, kayaks & bikes. The Main Stay is “the” place to stay when heading for Belize. It is simple, and absolutely perfect, just as any vacation should be. We cannot wait to plan our next trip!"
