  • Great Holiday

"We arrived in the evening and Scott was there to meet us and show us round. The studio is very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The view is spectacular and if the weather had been better we would have sat out more on the terrace. We had some warm days and one great sunset. A good value accommodation especially considering the very high prices some hotels charge. Scott kindly took us into Hamilton the first morning and showed us various shops and restaurants. We walked in and out of Hamilton most days (30 minutes each way). Some neighbours stopped to give us a lift sometimes. It is a very friendly and welcoming island. There is only a microwave and small toaster oven in the studio so minimal cooking is recommended. Scott has a larger apartment with full kitchen for better self catering. There are nice restaurants in the town but like most things in Bermuda they are expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Scott was on hand to help us as required. A beautiful island with lovely people. Lots to do and lovely walks especially along the old railway track."

  • Paradise

"Our stay was magnificent! The apt loft was a perfect size for our small family. It was immaculate & well maintained. Tracy was extremely accommodating & did everything possible to make our stay the most comfortable. Our grill stopped working & she had one delivered already put together the very next day. She went above & beyond! The outside area along with the pool was beautiful, calming, and well kept. We discovered a better walking route to the beaches suggested by a lovely neighbor & only wished we would have found it sooner("tribe road #7). The beaches were perfect & the locals were welcoming & friendly. I Love Bermuda & all it offers! We hope to visit some day soon again!!"

  • Enter as strangers, leave as friends

"Everything that people have written about Oyster Point is true: Breathtaking and idyllic location, close to restaurants, beaches, and a marketplace, a private and fully stocked cottage filled with essentials. Although necessary and important, these components are not what make Oyster Point remarkable. The element that makes Oyster Point so special is our Hosts: Dorothy, Brian, their family and of course, Abbie and Zooey. My husband and I had an unplanned extension to our vacation, as tropical storm Fay hit the island. Brian and Dorothy couldn't have been more accommodating to us. We were treated like family friends. I'm still a bit stunned how warm, kind and welcoming they were to us. You may notice when staying at Oyster Point the framed print on the wall stating: 'Enter as strangers, leave as friends'. Perhaps that saying may be trite elsewhere, but at Oyster Point, the statement is fact. Thank you, we will be back!"

  • Fantastic Holiday

"We had a fantastic family holiday in Bermuda staying at Freshwinds. Debbie and Nathan were brilliant hosts and helped us sort out transfers to the house with Cal. The house was clean, well furnished and stocked with basic essentails (washing up liquid, soap, toilet rolls etc..) Cal even did a basic shop for us to get us through the first night as our flight was delayed. The house is well positioned for exploring the whole island...the only down side is that the local bus( route 4) finishes to Spanish point at 6pm but you can hire scooters or use taxis. We loved exploring the Lighthouse, Horseshoe Bay beach, the Railway walking trail but especially going out on Ana Luna Nathan's catamaran...fantastic!! The bus stop is 2 minutes walk away and a local convenience store only 10 minutes. All in all.... a great holiday, on a fantastic island in a lovely house."
