"We have been diving Bonaire for about ten years and have sampled quite a few accommodations and have found most of them to be great. However, we knew when we opened the door that we would want to return.
The unit is spacious and nicely decorated having everything one might need. The location and proximity to dive gear and reef made for easy last dives of the day. we started our day with a long swim right out front and often ended with a twilight/ night dive.
From coffee at the waters edge to sunsets there, the mood was relaxed.
The owner was most helpful with the booking also.
We hope to be back on Bonaire next year and probably will schedule our time around the availability of this unit.
Back in the cold. Northeast now but loving that also."

"We just returned from our vacation in Bonaire at Beachcomber Villas. We stayed in the larger of the 2 apartments. We chose Beachcomber because of all the great reviews. Our experience there met all our expectations & more. Why isn't there a 6 star option - that is what we would give it. Tim & Leanne are amazing people. They have an extensive knowledge of Bonaire and all of its hidden gems, from dive sites to restaurants, to the best place to pick up your groceries. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
Leanne made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of, from booking our diving package, truck rental, and including the essentials for our first day including coffee, sugar, cream & bottle of wine. Thanks again Leanne for the use of your coffee grinder & finding 1/2 & 1/2 for my coffee.
Tim's diving tips were extremely helpful and the set up for drying & storing the gear was perfect. Each morning they would post dive site recommendations with entry points and specific site highlights. Tim or Leanne were always there when we returned from our dives to lend a hand with the gear. Before turning in for the night we would go down to take our gear off the drying rack & store in the dive locker & the "diving angels" had already stowed our gear. Thanks you guys.
"The Cliff" dive site is situated directly in front of the villas. Access is thru the gate - 6 steps to the water. It doesn't get any easier than that. This is our favorite site on Bonaire. Diving "the cliff" in the early morning, with the sunlight just breaking over the edge of the wall is magical.
Staying at Beachcomber Villas is a divers dream. You don't need to look anywhere else - this is it."

"Sitting at the ocean end of the deck, you can flick a pebble into the water, you're that close.
I love to snorkel and do some diving. Just walk into the water and the first 30 or 40 yards out are shallow and sandy bottomed, with some small coral heads here and there that are fun to check out. After 30 or 40 yards out you hit the dark blue water line. Look below you and you will see the beautiful reef that runs the perimeter of the island. The depth to get down to the reef varies around 25 to 40 feet deep, which was fine for my son and I to snorkel. We like diving down, thou by the end of our stay our ears were water logged. My wife preferred and enjoyed floating at the surface and watching things. The house is located just north of the promenade, which makes it more private. But walk just a block and you are on the promenade which takes you into town. The location of this house is perfect. A walk to the nearest market it a little under a mile, so you might not need a car, but get one. Get one of those mid size four door pickups . If for no other reason than to do a driving tour of the north end of the island (Washington-Slagbaai national park). The house itself is beautiful, the pictures the owner posted are accurate. I plan to come back."
