"This year we brought mom with us to Bonaire, so we had to find a 2bdrm. Glad we went with this unit. First of all, can't say enough great things about the owner... very attentive and accommodating to our needs. When we arrived, there was a couple of things that were wrong, but, within 20 minutes of me emailing her, we had everything attended to! Thank you- you're awesome! The location of this unit is great - it's right in the middle of everything this condo resort has to offer! We especially liked the back screened porch - it has to be one of the largest porches on the ground. Great times were had. If we bring mom again, we'll be back!"Guest: Lori M. "The penthouse was everything I had hoped it would be plus more! It was like home away from home with the added bonus of fabulous views! Augusta and everyone from VanEps Property Management were a pleasure to work with and made the reservation, arrival and departure process smooth and worry free. Bonaire has become my birthday destination three years running. I would love to stay at the "Nautical Nest" again next August! Danki Augusta!!"Guest: Echo Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 9, 2014View listing
"Note that Sand Dollar is a collection of owned apartments, every one is different. I staid in A4, which is on the second floor and thus has a balcony, overviewing the ocean. Parrots visit the tree just outside to eat fruits. The balcony is screened, thus you can sit there in the evening without worrying about insects. Some others are not screened. The ones on the ground floor have easier access but less view. The A building is right next to the dive shops. They only run the compressors during the day and it didn't bother me. A4 is in the first building, close to reception, almost nobody walks by there. Thus I let the door open (it has a screen door) and enjoyed the breeze (it's always windy in Bonaire). I like that better than using the aircon (which worked very well anyway). I actually was interested in A2, which has a separate bedroom, but the owner was not very responsive. A4 is a studio with lots of space, including full size kitchen and large bathroom. Although the building looks like it's from the seventies, it has been well maintained. A few tiny things could be improved though. You have between 2 buns very close buy, great place for breakfast (and any other cake or sandwich). The peruvian restaurant is also next door, on the sea side, and was good. Didn't try Eddy's, another restaurant on site. Sonia's is a modern Italian restaurant across the street. There is a well stocked supermarket 10 min. walking north. Thus you can do without a vehicle (although you need one to dive/snorkel at other places and to drive through slagbaai park). Note that the website that seems to be the official website doesn't offer all apartments, even though they will gladly suggest it's "not available for the specified date". Check the vrbo site for alternatives, contact the owner directly for best information. The owners of A4 were very informative and took lots of time to answer any question I had."Guest: trip4trip Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 14, 2014View listing
"The Villa was excellent. It is in a very convenient spot - dive shop is 25 yards away. Lots of good restaurants close by. The Villa was just as described in the listing. There were three guys in our party with a lot of dive gear; we had plenty of space. There would have be no issues with space had our wives came along. The owner and property manager were great. Both of them were easy to contact and a joy to talk with. This Villa will be our first choice when we return to the island next year. Bottom line is that you could not ask for a better place to stay while on Bonaire."Guest: Three guys diving Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 17, 2014View listing

Visitors to Belnem Vacation Rentals
Bonaire is tranquil tropical paradise. It is one of the lesser-known Caribbean vacation destinations and that is indeed part of its charm. All the marine waters surrounding the island have been declared a marine national park since 1979 which has resulted in a pristine and natural marine environment. It is this environment that attracts scuba divers, snorkelers and water sports enthusiasts from around the world. Because of the consistent trade winds, Bonaire is a popular sailing destination. Windsurfing is also becoming an increasingly popular activity on the island. Kite boarders are also attracted by the good wind and surf conditions that Bonaire has to offer.
