"We enjoyed a 10 day family getaway with our adult boys, with one of their friends & our daughter-in-law. Perfect for 6 people, we loved ending each day in the pool overlooking beautiful Cane Garden Bay. The home is walking distance to good restaurants but be warned it is quite a climb up a steep hill back to the Villa! Sam was extremely helpful in getting us set up for rental cars, groceries & alcohol. Each bedroom had a very efficient ac & the multiple patios were great to enjoy the views. Driving on the island is not for the feint of heart w/ hairpin curves, fast drivers & steep hills. We visited Soper's Hole, taking the Voyager catamarans to Jost Van Dyke & Norman Island. We took the ferry to Virgin Gorda. We visited Myett's for several meals and enjoyed the beach & bar tremendously. We found many VI & BVI natives come to play on that beach as well so we felt like we picked an ideal spot. Only issue was a broken washer/dryer but we didn't really need it. Plenty of towels provided!"

Amazing views, comfortable villa with private pool.
"We absolutely enjoyed our visit to Tortola and the help of owners and Mobbsie (property manager). The home has amazing views and kitchen supplies for cooking meals in to enjoy the gorgeous views. Spacious cottage with private pool on private lot. Close to Brewers Bay and Cane Garden Bay. This was our second visit to Tortola - we will be back and will stay again at Makere Cottage!! The only thing we would change is inviting another couple to rent the second villa on property so we can share our love of Makere and Tortola! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

"My family and I just spent 4 wonderful days at the Cane Garden Bay Cottages. It was clean and very comfortable. What we loved most was the wonderful yard right outside our door. My 9 and 10 year old children had so much fun reading under the big trees and hammock. They also enjoyed collecting almonds that had fallen from the trees and playing "almond ball" A wonderful family vacation memory!
My husband and I especially loved how close it was to the beach, local restaurants, the small market and the glass blowing studio. We didn't bother renting a car. Walking everywhere was really nice.
Staff was friendly and right there any time we had questions. Thank you Cane Garden Bay Cottages for an unforgettable family vacation! We'll definitely be back!"

"Lovely cottage with large, open plan. The view was beautiful. The master bedroom had high, vaulted ceilings and air conditioning. Just steps from the pool and very private.
Bear in mind that the roads are dangerous at night, so it's advisable to get back before sunset ( especially with a few cocktails on board) but apparently there are taxis.
Very close to beach bars, restaurants etc. but again an all wheel drive jeep is recommended to get back up the steep hill. We rented from Jerry's car rental at West end. Our advice is to not get the low end Jeep..and upgrade a tad.
Bring your own candles.
Bring your own toiletries as few are supplied, + toilet paper.
Tina the owner was very kind and swift to reply if any issues.
It's advisable to stay beyond hurricane season, as this can be hot/ humid and only one air conditioned room.
Hey, bring your own movies! The supply of DVDs is great, but a bit hard to hear with the fan blowing :-) we had to stay indoors given the weather. On the one, starry night, it was beautiful.
Perhaps our stay was a little 'off season' but in general the house is lovely and do make it down to the local beach bars/ restaurants if you can. 'myetts' had a fantastic happy hour time from 5-7 with amazing Mahi tacos with red caggage..yumm and a lovely, funny musician!
Brewers Bay beach is very quiet, but lovely.
Paradise beach bar on Cane Garden Bay is lively and have great drinks...
Locals are friendly, but not overly so. It's polite to say " hello, how are you?" In order to receive the same.
Makere is a lovely spot. We really enjoyed our time..."
