"Lovely cottage with large, open plan. The view was beautiful. The master bedroom had high, vaulted ceilings and air conditioning. Just steps from the pool and very private.
Bear in mind that the roads are dangerous at night, so it's advisable to get back before sunset ( especially with a few cocktails on board) but apparently there are taxis.
Very close to beach bars, restaurants etc. but again an all wheel drive jeep is recommended to get back up the steep hill. We rented from Jerry's car rental at West end. Our advice is to not get the low end Jeep..and upgrade a tad.
Bring your own candles.
Bring your own toiletries as few are supplied, + toilet paper.
Tina the owner was very kind and swift to reply if any issues.
It's advisable to stay beyond hurricane season, as this can be hot/ humid and only one air conditioned room.
Hey, bring your own movies! The supply of DVDs is great, but a bit hard to hear with the fan blowing :-) we had to stay indoors given the weather. On the one, starry night, it was beautiful.
Perhaps our stay was a little 'off season' but in general the house is lovely and do make it down to the local beach bars/ restaurants if you can. 'myetts' had a fantastic happy hour time from 5-7 with amazing Mahi tacos with red caggage..yumm and a lovely, funny musician!
Brewers Bay beach is very quiet, but lovely.
Paradise beach bar on Cane Garden Bay is lively and have great drinks...
Locals are friendly, but not overly so. It's polite to say " hello, how are you?" In order to receive the same.
Makere is a lovely spot. We really enjoyed our time..."

"We just returned from a 2 wk stay in Tortola BVI. There was 8 people (4 couples) in our group. We stayed at the villa for 4 nights. The pictures do not do the home justice. It was breathtaking. The views from the balconies and the inside of the house were incredible.
It was booked with the property manager Alberto, and he was amazing. He met us at the airport to drive us to the villa. We arrived at different times, so the first group went to the home to find that Alberto had picked up a few groceries for us as well as some spirts, which were required after the long flight to get there. He waited with our group until the next group arrived and again went to the airport, so that we did not get lost. He had some snacks for us when we arrived from the airport. He is so ver thoughtful. He was available to us 24/7, and advised we could call him anytime that was needed. It was such a wonderful expereince having such a caring and thoughtful person looking after us. He truly made the experience a very positive one. We can hardly wait to return."

"My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at The Little Mermaid. We had an amazing time! Jan is a great host and answered every question we had. Whenever we needed something she was very helpful in finding chairs or a cooler or whatever else we asked for. Her place is large and clean. She is very proud that she has upgraded much of her stuff and it shows. The WIFI helped us keep in touch with our kids back home but she was also willing to let us use her phone to call the states if we needed it. The beach is just a 5 minute walk down the road and the best snorkeling we did the whole time we were there! We hit all the beaches we could find and this beach has some of the best coral! Jan has 3 dogs and they loved going to the beach with us and kept us company every morning and evening. It was fun to have them around. The island itself is great and the local people were very willing to help us when we needed help finding the correct road to any number of beaches we went to. You do need a car and careful driving as it is a bit crazy. It was always nice to get back to Beef Island. Trellis Bay is just a 5 minute drive with a few great restaurants. We had our anniversary dinner at The Last Resort after getting off the ferry from Virgin Gorda. Best meal we had as we watched the sunset and talked to the owner Bill. We cooked breakfast every morning and packed a lunch for our daily adventures which saved us lots of money. There is a few nice grocery stores close by so getting food was easy. Jan has satellite TV as we needed to watch the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup. She also has a nice pool that you can use after coming back from the beach. The airport was not really a problem. We recommend anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay to book with Jan as we had a great time!"
